Introduction
Management of people is a set of practice of organizing person by recruiting,
training, engaging and retaining them. This assist in optimizing their talent through
effective communication across all the teams and enhance their productivity to attain
the goal of an organization(Saxby and et.al., 2020). It is important to manage people
because it help in attracting bet people to the business that support in getting proper
outcome. In this report, BUNI travel is taken into consideration which is a travel
agent based on Bolton. This report will cover the tool and techniques that are used to
manage people in an organization through motivation to improve their performance.
Further it will discuss the role of employees in improving the performance of a
business concern. In addition to this, the report will also explain about the external
factor through pestle analysis that can affect the business of the BUNI travel.
What tools and techniques will help improve organizational
performance?
Performance management assist an administration to improve the
performance of the employees so that they can become able to provide valuable
outcome. It involves measuring, reporting and managing process to enhance the
skills of the employees by organizing various training programs(Manavalan and
Jayakrishna, 2019)). With reference to BUNI travel, there are some tools and
techniques which help the workers to improve their performance which are depicted
as under:
Key performance indicators: It is an indicators of measuring progress which
help in showing the performance of a firm to get the goal of the business. It tracks
the progress against the target by making strategies to reach the goals and create
an analysis for decision making. It is way of measuring potency of an organization
and its progress towards achieving the objectives. In context to BUNI travel, it
enables a firm to keep the teams aligned and allow them to move in a same
direction. It also help in check-in the financial position of a company and make
adjustment of the failure and success so that the work can be done properly. It
provide assistance to the employees in tracking their performance so that the are
accountable for the work which are assigned to them.
Performance appraisal: It is the evaluation of the performance of the
employees to understand their capabilities for future growth and development
