Introduction Project Description Evaluation Strategies
COMMUNITY RESOURCES
Project Goals
The research will primarily explore
the symptoms of heart disease in
the target age group of 45-60. It is
focused on the hypertension
patients. The research will
determine proper nursing
activities through the identification
of the knowledge levels in the
patients. It will also explore the
aspects related to the heart
disease and the need of relevant
education in the hypertension
patients. The relevant health
campaigns will be conducted to
spread the education of leading a
healthy lifestyle. The entire project
will be accomplished within the
time frame of 4 weeks .
The community campaign
resources available are a
community hall, sitting
arrangements , a projector ,
microphone , medicines,
documentary videos prepared for
the awareness, leaflets, patients
from the community, a survey team
As per the reports of Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC), the heart diseases cause 1
death in 4 each year in the United
States. More than 735,000 people in
the United States suffer from heart
attack (Varghese et al., 2016). It
affects the people under the age group
of 45-65 year and the hypertensions.
The present research is aimed at
identifying the possible causes
of heart attack and preventing
them as much as possible. The
study will help the cardiac
disease in patients suffering
from hypertension. It will
facilitate the search of the
primary reasons behind the
severe heart failure and death by
cardiac arrest. The rates of
death by cardiac attack can be
reduced by taking suitable
precautions and preventive
measures.
The effectiveness of the project
will be conducted by checking the
instances of stroke or cardiac
arrest / death rates in the sample
size after six months of the
campaigning. A group of 10
trained people will be employed in
the task of evaluation.

Literature Review
The research is based on four of
the scholarly articles which were
the most relevant with the topic.
The articles proved to be the
reservoirs of information and have
been extremely useful. The
articles of Stewart et al. (2016),
Wendelboe et al. (2015), Lupton
(2015) and Anand (2015) have
been used .
After huge research and study , it
can be concluded that old age
should be taken seriously as the
primary attribution of
cardiovascular health events. The
public campaigns are necessary
to reduce the issue of low
awareness of thrombosis and
other cardiac diseases.
