INTRODUCTION
In a business the major aspect is defined as employee productivity and in recent time due
to implication of COVID-19, all the businesses have shut down or shifted to work from home
culture. In this time employee productivity is the major aspect which is demanded by the
business as there is no physical presence of employees are existed (Gorlick, 2020). This debate is
exerted in relation to increasing productivity of employees when they are working from home.
This debate is taking place in the favour of this statement that is while working form home
productivity of employees are enhancing. In the second part of this debate a personal reflection
for transferable skills are drawn.

The topic of debate is increasing productivity of employees when they are working from
home. This is a contentious issue as it is being analysed that in the time of post COVID
employees are called to office and the major change observed that they are working with
minimised efficiency as due to development of working form home culture during COVID Lock-
down period employee used to work with high flexibility. The major issue faced by businesses
after opening of office is that they are not able to manage employees in such a way that high
productivity can be obtained. Under this issue the argument is propounded that how productivity
can be enhanced. Within this issue as this is determined that businesses are facing issues related
to workplace productivity due to which various dimensions are hampered and can impact the
business in both negative and positive manner.
The pandemic of COVID-19 has highlighted all the possibilities of working from home
and in this manner role within the business are shackled. COVID-19 has regarded as the crisis
which has provided the way in which businesses can work even in contingency so that their
operations do not face any negative impact from those contingencies (Johannsen and Zak,
2020). At home all the modern comforts are received by employees due to which they feel free to
work and devote higher time to business working.
According to Buffer survey this is being analysed that 99% of employees are preferring
work from home as flexible working hours is the major aspect due to which employees are
receiving higher benefits. By working from home an employee can develop working hours as
