Reflective statement
According to Gibbs model it can be stated that it is systematic framework which
comprises description, feelings, evaluation, analysis, conclusion, and action plan. Each step of
this model helped me to understand each concept related to specified topic (Gibbs reflective
cycle, 2021). In my opinion debate on business of business is business was one of the most
interesting topic which basically held for giving deep insights about the organizational practices.
According to description step, I can say that the topic indicates all activities related to ethical
practices in deeper manner. It provides clarity about ethical and unethical business actions
which are conducted for accomplishing organizational objectives. I came to know that business
usually execute its process through making sure that its practices are beneficial in economical
manner. the particular subject matter gives me information that there are various social as well
legal issues occur in continuous process of entity (Dressler, Becker and Arthur, 2018). I
understood that these challenges are not visible in day to day practices of firm there for ignored
by company. In addition to this, I actually focused on knowing the situation which is not tangible
but largely influence the business processing that need to be addressed. i observed that the
ignorance regarding mentioned social and ethical causes are resulting in loses of growth
opportunities. In my opinion, neglecting responsibilities are giving on time development
opportunities but may harm their position to get economies of scale. Debate has given me
knowledge that many big organizations has understood the importance of specified subject
matter and have taken actions in respect to ethical strategies.
From the feeling part of Gibbs model it is identified that there are various strengths and
weakness which are important to address for getting proper knowledge. The skills that has
helped me to perform effectively in order to deliver my opinion in front of audience. It comprises
problem solving approach as it helped me to take consideration regarding various aspects which
are crucial in order to earn profit (Markkanen and et.al., 2020). I felt that businesses are
indulging into those courses of actions that are providing maximum profitability possibilities like
getting labor at cheap cost. It is exerted as having employees’ expenses lower increases higher
profit margin and according to me it is one of the main objective for carrying forward any related
