Introduction
Job Fair
Job fairs are the events, which are exhibited by the company to recruit fresh talents in their
organization. It is a career fair, which connects the job provider and job seekers like students or
employees who want to work and explore their interests and talent. Such career expo provides
ample of job opportunities and career counseling to explore the job according to their interests.
In this essay, I will share my experience of going to the job fair.
Background
As I did my graduation in mass communication and journalism, I wanted to explore the
job opportunities as this field has a wide scope for the people who hardworking and are ready to
hustle. It aroused my passion to work, as a fashion reporter in Elle Canada as I aspire to become
Laura DeCarufel, executive director of Elle Canada. Since I was not able to make a choice for
myself and my path was not clear, I attended the Job Fair, which was exhibited in Vancouver,
British Columbia, Canada. It was a 1-day event, which happened on 28 May 2019 in Holiday Inn
& Suites- 1110 Howe Street, Vancouver, BC, V6Z 1R2.
These networking events happens on a large scale with more thousands of job seekers
attending the event from a variety of fields who wanted to work in the corporate culture and we
are looking for best career advice. It was 3 hours affair organized by Sudip Mukherjee, Shelly
Williams, Rupa Mothey, Murali Murthy, and Jim Pagiamtzis.
