INTRODUCTIONThe tourist is the specific sector for every country and continents. The travel and tourismis done for the pleasure and own satisfaction. As per the tourism is concern in today’s scenario,the impact of the tourism fluctuates due to the change in the seasons and presence of destinationsfor tourist visits, transportation and accommodation process etc. Hence, any tourist considers allthe given features before choosing a destination. The same concept has been utilized to compareLondon and Paris which is the basis of given report. TASK 1Select two leading destinations, one from UK or Europe and another from outside the EU andpresent data and information in terms of income generated and visitors numbersAs per the tourist industry is concern, there is the maximum amount of finance isgenerated from these industry. The financial condition of an economy of a place is gettingaffected due to the tourism industry. To analyze the importance of the tourist destination it isrequired to examine the number of visitors visiting the particular place. The GDP of theparticular country is getting increased due to the increase in the income generated from theparticular place. As per the research is concern, the two places that have been chosen are Londonand Paris. As per the information of the tourism industry London and Paris are the destinationthat was popular from the earlier days and is the most famous destination for the long holidaysand honeymoon couples. million in 2008 as compared to 2007. Due to the recession in the time period the figure gotdistracted and there was a downfall in the tourism industry. But this recession has not affectedsome of the famous places such as Paris and London. The taxis areavailable at the better condition in London for the tourist than that in Paris (Dimanche andReisinger, 2009). There are more restaurants for the tourists in London as compared to Paris thatare offering the luxurious services to the visitors on regular basis. There are more destinationswhich look better than the destinations in Paris for the visitors. Landmarks as London Eye,Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament of London attracts more as they all look superiorthan what Paris has on proffer for tourists.
