socio-cultural and environmental effects.

industry and recognizing the issues which are being faced and developing better tourism
practices which would prove to be ethical. Tourism is useful in boosting foreign exchange and
would contribute in development of gross domestic products and services (Graham, 2018).
The improvement in tourism related activities can be explained as a process of preserving
and opening a tourism industry in a specific area. The development further considers the plans,
policies and strategies to attract more number of customers from the environment for visiting a

etc. Tourism industry expand when the economic environment is pleasing and provides soothing
climatic conditions. In relation to such elements and factors, tourism is being influenced by the
economic conditions prevailing in a country, its culture, history and technology which are being
adapted (Hwang and Lyu, 2018).
The significance of infrastructure is related to economic conditions of hotel and
transportation, relatively lesser fare for movement from one area to another and also the choice
of qualitative food can serve as a helping hand in success of tourism industry. Tourist often
prefer locations and destinations where they sense a welcoming feeling and feel lively. The staff
appointed at restaurants and hotels play a vital and major role in such activities and functions.
The success journey of such businesses depend on physical elements such as climatic conditions
and environmental changes and even the ecology of nations depending on human factors such as
safety, accessibility, guidance, hospitality, affordability etc. for those reasons an economy must
always concentrate to build and develop its infrastructure.
Tourism industry is observed to highly affect economy of a country by enhanced and
improved tax revenues, income, increased opportunities related to employment and higher
standard of living. The local goods and services of a nation gets disclosure and economic
operations gets driven up because of rising tourism business. There are several negative and
positive effects of tourism industry on economy. One of the positive effect of tourism economy
can be explained as multiplier effect which denotes rise in spending level of tourist which would
result in increased income or revenues for economy in relation to initial expenses (Keskin and
Ucal, 2021).
In other words, it can be defined as a circulation of funds and money generated by

industries such as mining, farming and fishing into service jobs in the tourism industries.
Another negative effect can be defined such as over dependency.
Tourism is a function which would help to improve consciousness about environmental
morals and would prove to be a technique to contribute in maintenance and protection of natural
areas and increase their profitable values (Kim, Kim and King, 2020). With the rise in level of
tourism, its influence on environment would also rise. Tourist can then help to reserve and
protect geographic area which leads to positive impact of tourism on economic environment. The
term sustainability explains minimizing the risk, threats and unwanted expenses which in return
would lead to increase in benefits of tourism which could help natural surroundings and local
gatherings prosper. It focuses on carrying out tourism linked human activity without any
destruction being caused towards sources that are necessary towards its existence. The
advantages from sustainable commercial enterprise is that it is helpful in maintaining the
surroundings clean and resulting in lowering down environmental effects. Other optimistic effect
of business enterprise is it helps in providing assistance for keeping quality of food and water
provided and the funds which is earned from tourism based business could be used for protecting
geographical areas and natural sources.
Likewise, with the increase in tourism, its pessimistic effects on environmental
conditions have been observed to rise. The over usage of natural resources by people might lead
towards scarce resources for localized people. The land is mainly impacted by rising tourism and
its connected actions and activities at touristy spot as it would lead towards a higher level of
pollution and soil erosion as well. The constant developing road, rail transportation, air would
contribute towards such effects for example noise and air pollution which would lead to increase
in global warming and changing climatic conditions. The areas which have more attractive
games and activities would witness adequate level of disposal of waste material and trash. The
coast wise areas specifically face excess pressure due to rising number of tourists. Penetration in
ecosystem and in plant as well as animal variety for development of roads, hotels or resorts for
attracting more travellers as it would pose a great threat to migrating wildlife and endangered
species (Li, Pan and Hu,2021).
Effect of business enterprise on socio culture would rise when it would bring
modification in worth, society and behaviour of an economic system. The socio culture influence
of touristry explains the experience of local based experiences of customers, changes being

observed in their daily based cycle and ethics as a outcome of tourism. It is the straightforward as
well as indirect connection of host territory with tourism industry and tourists as well. The
influence consist of conventional patterns, ethics, traditions, language and lifestyle etc. The
socio-cultural impact of tourism can result to be negative as well as positive depending on the
quality of exchange among various cultures. The advantages of socio cultural in case of tourism
is such that it helps in maintaining the local heritage as well as build strong base for the
community and preserve the fading culture. The social service, development of heritage places,
the popularity of art and craft would have some positive effect on socio-culture(Mirzaalian and
Halpenny, 2019).
The benefits also consider generating income and profit as well as job opportunities from
several organisation that are linked in tourism activities. For attracting more and more number of
tourists, money from economy are further invested to maintain the essence of heritage sites and
preserve them which would further improve roads, public transportation, infrastructure and
airports etc. This is helpful to improve education facilities as well as lifestyle of local people
living around.
The rise in tourism scale would result to excessive traffic and the structure of an economy
might not be enough efficient to cope up with such huge rush and crowd. Therefore it might lead
to deterioration of sanitation based facilities, spread of diseases and over crowding as well. The
interferences of foreign culture might trouble the local culture and develop a unfavourable
situation. The rise in tourism industry has also resulted in increasing criminal activities, illegal
operations and becoming anti social as well and also leading in declining moral values and
religious practices as well (Mura and Wijesinghe, 2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above essay it can be concluded that the constant change in environmental
conditions led to alteration in working of tourism industry has been observed to evolve as well. It
further expects new tools and techniques and even the skills which would attract people towards
a specific location. The future of economy would impact the revenues being generated by a
business enterprise and the investment being made that would enhance the lifestyle of host
country. Improvement in sound infrastructure would prove to be helpful in saving destination

from natural calamities for example hurricanes or flood. With rise in tourist based activities, the
availability of foreign exchange would increase that would help in development of natural
sources also maintaining sustainability.
