INTRODUCTION
Tourism is the social, economical process which describes the motion of the humans to
different countries or places. The main purpose of the tourism is to enhance the economy
increase the employment rate also drives the development in the country’s infrastructure; also
enable the cultural experiences between the foreign citizens and native citizens (Fusté-Forné,
and Nguyen, 2018). Heritage attraction as the tourism which involve the sightseeing of the sites
which represent the traditional value, as history, inheritance about the place. This report covers
the tourism and heritage attraction role also involves the global examples. It further defines the
role of technology to promote more visitors engagement with the museums or the heritage
attraction.

Role of tourism and heritage attraction to destination:
Tourism is one of the main factor that drives the growth in economy of the country,
government improve the infrastructure of the country to attract the visitors towards it. Tourism
develops the opportunities which enhance the employment rate, as it gives the career path to
many people. As the people who are living near the destination are mostly depending on the
tourist who visits there, they can sale their handmade crafts and products to the visitors to make
their earnings. Heritage attraction as art, culture has the long appealing in the tourist destination.
As the traditional culture, architecture which depicts the story of location is the major attraction
for the visitors. For that reason government always invest on to develop the good infrastructure
around the destination (Gravari-Barbas, 2018).
Tourism role as to increase the wealth:

The key benefit of the tourism is to influx the wealth which reflects in the economic progress of
the country. It is especially most beneficial for the country whose currency or economy is weaker
than other countries. For example Africa country is mostly depends on the tourist as their people
earn the money from the foreign citizens by serving them services. Tourism plays an important
role to promote the development in the country economy.
To increase the opportunity for localities:
It develops the better opportunity for job and other occupation for the localities who lives near
the destination, as for the tourism visitors always look for the local guide to help them to
understand the culture of the destination. That’s the reason it provides the job options to the local
people also they can sale their area’s product or to share their cultural attributes which help them
to avail recognition in whole world (Frame and et.al 2021).
Heritage attraction at destination is most important as common things are everywhere;
people always look for something which is unique and rare in every aspect. Heritage tourism is
very important as it helps to develop the visitor economy. Heritage and cultural tourism is the
main attraction for the tourist to visit that particular destination.

attractions, therefore one of the attraction is Tower of London.
The above figure shows the Tower of London which is present in London and can be viewed
from the Thames River of London. This place has lots of things to offer to the visitors as its
history as it is her royal majesty’s palace which is able to make the great day of the visitors. It is
about 900 year old architecture which is recognised for the crown jewels housing. It is the
historic castle which is present along with the London Borough Tower Hamlets. It shows the
royal history, its traditional heritage which attracts the visitor from the different countries to visit
there. Also government charge for the tickets so that it also plays an important role in the
economy. Tourist guide present the history about the place so that people found it strong and
interesting which enables them to visit the destination again. Along with this London have other
heritage attractions too which are able to attract the people from across the world to visit the city
or to make the visit at the historical places (Bec, and et.al 2019). This City is consider as one of
the most visited city in the whole world, because of its history culture and food, people who

visited there stated that this city is pure magic and also its vibrant culture is the melting point for
the travellers.
Tourism develops a demand:
As for the business organisation design the product for the consumption, that directly means that
there is the demand which company fulfil to design their products and services. It directly aim to
the tourism sector as it is the industry which raise the demand first, therefore tourist company put
the destination pictures on their website which makes the tourist to attract towards it or to mark
their appearance to visit the destination. It is the economical growth for the industries which
makes them able to develop the employment which is beneficial for the country’s economy.
Cultural heritage tourism is the main attraction as it gives the best experience t the visitor
who visit the destination, it involves the artefacts, castle, and the way to present the story about
the story in a authentic way to enhance the knowledge of the people about the particular place it
also enables them to feel the Aura of that place so that they enjoy their visit as well as make
available for next visit (Zhang and Smith, 2019). Tourism gives the significant role to the locals
to make their career in this line as to learn the skills so that they can easily give the guidance to
the visitor to make them understood about the cultural belief, tradition of such destination.

sunny beaches, Inca history are able to attract the traveller towards it. Therefore there
architecture able to give country a worldwide recognition.
Machu Picchu a Inca Citadel of the fifteenth century which is located in the Southern
Peru, a great global tourist spot. Machu Picchu destination is developed in a classic Inca style in
which it present the dry stone walls. Tourist from across the world visit there to see its heritage
and beauty which attracts the people towards it, this building was developed as to give the better
idea to the visitor as how originally it look. This destination have witnessed most visitors
because of its Inca ruins a intricate system. It is recognise as one of the most archaeological site
of the Inca period (Alazaizeh and et.al 2019). Therefore many people visit there to know about
the history of Machu Picchu, it is the best tourist destination which drives the peak in the
economy of the country.

Eiffel tower is the most famous monument in the world which is located in the Paris which is the
heart capital of the France. Paris city witnessed most of the traveller who visit the destination
because of its beauty and history. Eiffel tower is one of the most visited destination, travellers
loves everything about this place. As Eiffel tower was built in 1889 year, this place offers the
three stages for the travellers which are the attraction point also the heritage work and the story
behind it impressive which attracts the tourist to visit the place. Therefore Paris city is also
consider as the City of light and famous for its monuments which are the highlight of the city, its
history, culture beauty, art are able to drives growth in economy by increasing travelling, as
monuments are constructed in a way with good heritage design through which the travellers does
not resist themselves to visit the destination.

York city which is most popular in the World. The architecture represents the history which is
about the hope for the French Liberals it was the gift from the French people. This monument
has market many visitors (De Ascaniis, Gravari-Barbas and Cantoni, 2018). Therefore this

destination in the New York City is considered as the centre of attraction which admits many
visitors across the globe.
Therefore tourism plays an important role for the growth also the heritage attraction is the
main component for the tourism. The destination is embedded with the history heritage design
are able to attract the visitors to visit the place, which can give the growth in economy for
country, also to increase the demand for the product and services for the company.
Role of technology to increase the traveller engagement:
Technology plays an important role to increase the productivity in everything, as the variation in
technology is anticipating the whole world with its advancement. As for the tourism having a
technological benefit can give good experience in throughout the tourism journey. As technology
brings the most of the better changes in the museum which is able to attracts the visitor towards
it.
Display Lighting case:
As for the tourist destination or museum people always attracted towards its beauty and dynamic
nature. Therefore advance lighting system in the museums are able to give the masterpiece
feelings to the visitors, as the museums are move forward to adapt the LED lights as they are
flexible as well as attractive which enables the traveller to visit the museum or destination
(Cerveny, Miller and Gende, 2020).
Security system:
With the help of better IT technologies security system has improved which provide the better
facilities to the visitor so that they don’t have to think twice before visiting the place. Sensors
and CCTV cameras at the heritage destination allow the visitor to securely Vander the location
without any threat. As the main criteria of the people are security therefore with the help of
technology this issue is also resolved so that visitor can effectively mark their present at heritage
destination or in a museum.
Also sensors are present at the museum provides the better information to the visitor, as
for an example if the heritage destination has the sensors or other technology than it will give the

real time experience to the visitor as it gives the right information about timing, history so that it
will enhance the knowledge of the visitor who visit the destination
Digital technology:
Digital technology is able to provide amazing experience also offers the better unique
opportunity to the museums or heritage attraction. This technological platform is beneficial to
give the different experience to the visitor as it helps them to completely indulge in to art
(Rasoolimanesh and et.al 2021). Through which the visitor are able to develop the knowledge or
to have great experience within their visit timing, so that they will feel enthusiastic to visit the
destination again. Its tools help to give the best memories to the travellers as it makes the
traveller able to understand the cultural belief about the destination, history behind the heritage
monument. Therefore technology gives the new face to museum or heritage attraction.
Technology allows a great increment to develop the knowledge, as for the visitor they
always visit the destination in which they have interest, in terms of to access the history
regarding the place, or to visit the museum to better know about the tradition, cultural beliefs of
the destination. Therefore digital technology will help in such to provide easy and quick access
to the information which can enable the visitor to enjoy their travelling journey.
Technology advancement provides the better opportunities as it helps to give the real
time experience in everything. As for the tourism or to visit the destination, museum technology
has changed a lot of thing. Now people can easily without physically moving from their place
they can easily mark their presence at the destination which they want to visit (Spenceley, and
Meyer, 2017). Technologies like VR virtual reality which helps to provide the better virtual
experience to the person with the help of this person can easily access to the information or to
visit the place which they have desired.
Visit the site virtually:
Technology helps the person to visit the places virtually without any movement; this is possible
only because of the technologies. It is beneficial for the person also cost efficient if the person
wants to go somewhere but due to lack of financial resources they are not able to visit there. But
now everything has changed people can easily go to the place which they have want to without
investing any penny. Some mobile application provides the real time experience to the person
through which they feel that they are there at the location. Technology is also beneficial in the
time of pandemic as whole world is suffering from the corona virus which have restricted the

entries of tourist, in such travel lovers have suffered a lot but with the help of technology they
can able to experience the real time activity. They can easily access to the place not by physically
but also be there to access everything. Therefore technologies are able to enhance the visitor
activity in the museum, heritage destination.
For an example as to visit the Churchill War rooms is the museum in London only need
to use the VR technology which helps to give real time experience. As it enables to access the
everything which is present in the museum, with the technology people can easily access to the
information regarding the history of the Museum or to give complete tour in a hour (Park, Choi
and Lee, 2019). Thus the technology has helped a lot during the pandemic as to give the good
travelling experience to the traveller or to provide the better functionality so everyone can use
the technology to perform the real world experience.
Thus the technology plays an important role to provide the better chances for the growth,
if the country has certain destination which are able to attract the visitor then by implementing
the technology will help to increase the economy rate. As technology build a good relation
between the person and particular museum or monument as it gives the whole information which
is enough to develop understanding among the person. Technology also improve the aesthetic
feature of the museum so that tourist will attract towards it or to visit there. Also by using
application which can give the better virtual experience to the person so without wasting time or
money they can easily visit the destination (Goffi, Cucculelli and Masiero, 2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above illustration it is summarized that the tourism and heritage attraction are the
significant factor which embedded with many opportunities or benefits. Tourism plays crucial
role to enhance the economic growth of the country, also to promote the development for the
country. The above report stated the key role of tourism along with the heritage destination

descriptions. The report also included the global examples which are the tourist destination with
their own history, and also describe the real time experience by using the technology to visit th
destination virually. Report further describes the role of technology to enhance the engagement
of the visitors to the museum or with the heritage destination.
