people. This has badly resulted in the political, social, economic factors of the country.
Among the dead were Dutch, British, Japanese, American and Portuguese, Chinese tourists

which killed at least 215 people. The terror attack at the starting of the outbound travel period
will also result in an impact on tourist footfalls for the period of short-term.
Policy draft
Overview of the activities of the hospitability and tourism
Sri Lanka has a rising tourism industry. Since fast freedom from the British in 1947, Sri
Lanka has sustained to attract distant shareholders and tourists to the island. Prior to the
terrorist attack on the Sri Lanka economy in 2019, Sri Lanka was the third main export
earner. Sri Lanka is a progressively popular destination for worldwide tourists. In the year
2013, the lonely planet designated Sri Lanka to be the first destination to visit. In the year
2015, Forbes magazine graded Sri Lanka country among the top 10 calmest nations to visit.
Top globe influencer for example the guardian, lonely planets, roughly guides and the New
York Times mention this country as a topmost site to visit in the year 2016. However, after
the incident of the terrorist attack in the churches, this country shows a fall in the growth of
their tourism sector. As per the data from the consultancy forward keys, shows that the all
over booking and minus the booking cancel on that day meaningfully shows the fallen
instantly after the Easter bomb outbreaks if associated to the same period last year
(Export.gov, 2018).
Critical Analysis of Identified legal and regulatory concerns
Indian intelligence officers cautioned their Sri Lankan colleagues of the outbreak for a few
hours earlier the first bomb was blasted, but the Sri Lankans unsuccessful to take any step.

There was no proper action or step been taken by the government as well as by the police of
the Sri Lankan. The government was not very active. The government and the inspector of
general of police face heavy blame subsequent the violence with the United People's Freedom
Alliance effect that he resigns regarding disappointment to stop the bombings. This is one of
the main criteria towards the adminstration and police of the Sri Lanka from not handling
such information.
The former president and Mahindra Rajapaksa, the current opposition leader for weakening
the intelligence service over the years, slammed the government the Sri Lanka.
The government of the Sri Lanka has responsible the group National Thowheeth Jama’ath for
the attacks and assumed it acknowledged foreign help.
There is a peril of more violence, authorities have cautioned, as the police department keep
on discovering explosives. The American diplomat said specialists accepted there were
"progressing fear based oppressor plots," and Sri Lankan authorities have believed, they are
as yet hunting down individuals accepted to be connected to the assaults (EDITORS, 2019).
The government has not taken any serious step for escaping from such an incident.
It is a big question that why the establishments failed to take any steps after being reported of
imminent threat even. These all the actions of the government reflect that the leader and the
prime minister were involved in an unpleasant dispute.
Topmost priority to save the country from any attack is of government and if the government
will not be going to take the several steps to prevent such incident then it can be said the
authority was fully responsible for such incident (Aljazeera, 2019).

Policy objective
To increase the government awareness
This policy is framed with a motive to increase the awareness of the government for the
country. As for example, it has been seen that the government of the Sri Lanka was very
much aware of the incident, which has happened in the country, but the government has not
taken any serious steps which can help in preventing from such incident (Safi, 2019).
Tourism app’s
The second most aim of the report is to increase the awareness of the tourism apps, which
help the tourist in providing all their booking for hotels and guides. These companies provide
best facilities to the tourist with various safety standards also but they should also take care
that they should also contribute toward the economy in which they are serving. As for
example, it has been seen that, in Sri Lanka tourism sector have been drastically pretentious
and the tourism sector of the Sri Lanka has been decline. So it is necessary do all the tourism
company to contribute toward the Sri Lanka just to help them in achieving the growth in the
economy (New York Times, 2019).
Suggestion for the companies to contribute towards the country
The third most objective of the policy is to suggest to the private and public company to help
the country as from this incident there is a major effect on the tourism of the country which
also is going to affect the company’s revenue (BBC News, 2019).
Therefore, the company should also contribute to the tourism sector of the Sri Lanka.
Suggest various authorities
The objective of the policy is to suggest the various authorities that they should also
contribute towards the damage occurred in the country due to the terrorist attack. It is also

suggested that the authority should also frame various rules regarding the tourism sector
which can help them in developing their tourism sector which has been a decline from the
recent case. The Sri Lanka country should manage its economy as of New Zealand mage their
economy (BBC News, 2019).
Stakeholder involved
The stakeholder is those which are affected by the incident. Stakeholders involved in this
industry are (Safe Coastal Tourism, 2019).
National administrations;
Local administrations with particular capability in tourism difficulties;
Tourism formations and tourism enterprises, which include their companies;
Institutions deals in financing travel ideas;
Tourism workers, tourism specialists, and tourism advisers;
Trade unifications of tourism staffs;
Tourism instruction and training centers;
Local populace and host groups at tourism journey's end through their legislatures;
Other juridical and normal people having risks in tourism growth including non-
governmental administrations focusing on tourism and straight involved in tourism plans and
