This research study aims to identify possible ways to increase tourist attractions in India by understanding the impact of tourism on the economy and culture of India, determining the ways in which tourist attractions can be increased, and discovering challenges faced in effective tourism development. The study suggests that the tourism sector of India can be developed further by focusing on infrastructure and through constructing more tourist sites. Moreover, it must focus on creating a travelling experience not only attractions with emphasizing hygiene factors as well. Lack of infrastructure is a primary and major issue in proper tourism development which includes connectivity of roads, transportation, inaccessibility, etc. The study concludes that tourism in India is an important aspect of promoting economic and cultural growth.
