INTRODUCTION Tourist destinationis a location of interest wherevisitorsvisit these places to experiencenatural beauty, adventure, historic buildings as well as ancient cultural and traditional values in thecountry (Damonte, Collins and Megehee, 2012). Government also makes efforts to develop touristlocation which contribute effectively to attract the visitors. The present report describes main touristdestination of India. It represents business statistics of tourist destinations for analysing their presentand future trends. Further, it analyses social, cultural and physical features of country. It showscharacteristics of tourism destinations which attract the tourists in India. In addition to this, it alsodefines issues of tourist destinations which affect its popularity in the nation. Indian government can provide effective services likeliving, entertainment, food and beverages in affordable prices to visitors in the nation. In addition tothis, security agencies of India can provide better safety to international and national visitors fromterrorist attacks in the country (Key issues in tourism sector in India, 2011). Recommendation for United KingdomFurther, British government should focus on green as well as adventure tourisms which canhelp to enhance numbers of visitors. Government of United Kingdom should provide more effectiveservices to lure many international tourists at tourism destinations. Further, travel authorities shouldreduce the tickets of tourist locations for those visitors who are belong to developing countries.These efforts can help to increase the visitors at tourist destinations of UK.
