3.1) Comparison of current leading tourist with that of currently developing tourist destinations
Many factors are there which makes difference between the leading and the developing
tourist destinations. Leading destinations have to sped more money than developing nations as
they are not having proper resource like developed countries. Other than this, a developing
destination also has the lack of resources that are important for making the people attracted. Here

developed nation while North Korea is the developing nation. Different factors are elaborated
here which makes difference between North Korea and UK.
UK: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Peninsula are covered under UK. As people of this
country have to follow some rule but they are not having much issues like North Korea.
North Korea: This country is located in East Asia pacific which is located in northern part of the
Korean Peninsula (Laws, 2011). The rules and regulations are very strict of this country as
people have to deal with very strict rules. Major difference between UK and North Korea has
been described here:
Difference in number of arrivals: In UK they are receiving around 32.6 billion visitors at the
end of the year 2014. people of different countries like to visit UK different purpose. The major
purpose of visiting UK is business. On the other hand in North Korea they received 11 million
people for visit which is quite less than UK. Only people of nearby countries are more like to
visit North Korea rather than other countries (Moreno and et. al., 2013). As the country is having
very strict rules and regulations.
Political conditions: Political conditions of UK are quite better than North Korea. There is less
political issues in getting visa and all the other things as it takes too much time. This will make
people attract to visit as they do not have to spend much time on completing the legal

4.1) Issues that affect the popularity of tourist destinations
Different types of issues are there which are responsible for decreasing tourism industry
at the global level. This issue are related to natural disasters and climate of the country. Other
than this, many countries are having issue related to the rules and regulations which sometimes
not allows people of other countries to visit (Yuksel, Yuksel and Bilim, 2010). Some of the
major reason are described as below: Global warming: Global warming is related to increase in the average surface
temperature of Earth due to green house gases. The changes in environmental conditions
and global warming has affected business of tourism of every country. Not only on the
single nation but it will make impact in the every nation. Increase in global warming,
leads to loss of biodiversity which make a huge impact on the tourist places (Alegre and

exploring the natural places, forest and reserves are extremely disappointing for them.
the international tourist from hot countries like Africa, Algeria, India etc visiting Europe
are not giving satisfied results in compare to earlier times. For this, government should
promote sustainable tourism and must take measures to reduce the carbon emission and
other harmful gases (Beritelli, 2011). Security issues: This is the major reason behind decrease in tourism industry. Terrorist
attack is the major reason behind loss in the tourism industry as it generates fear in the
hearts of people. Example is here, 38 Britons were killed in terrorist attack in Tunisia
while they were relaxing on beach resort (Bornhorst, Ritchie and Sheehan, 2010). This is
further preventing the UK individuals to take international holiday packages. Other than
this, there is also some issue in the airports as the govt, should work on this. For reducing
this issue the govt of the country should ensure the safety of tourist in their country so
that they can feel safe there (Chen and Phou,, 2013).
Economic crises: Economic drop down is also the reason behind reduction int the tourist
arrivals. Economic conditions of some countries do not make support to the improvement
in the tourism industry. For example, decrease in income of people will make them less
interested to plan tours (Croy, 2010). Some countries should work on improving their
economic conditions. If people are having less per capita income than they do not make
planing regarding making tours .
4.2) Potential for responsible tourism to enhance the host community at worldwide tourist
destinations
To enhance the worldwide tourism TUI need to make contribution in development of
tourism industry. They should make their contribution in development of tourism by involving
in giving solution the major problems which are faced by the tourists. To improve this, they
should work on developing the attractive tour package through which they can be affordable by
the people. Other than this, they should also make focus on the major tourism problem like
proving safe tour environment to people (Eugenio-Martin and Campos-Soria, 2010). This will
make them interested in making more tour plans. They should ensure people about their safety as
there are also an issue is there of terrorism which reduces the number of arrivals. Other than this,
exploring the natural places, forest and reserves are extremely disappointing for them.

attack is the major reason behind loss in the tourism industry as it generates fear in the
hearts of people.
Other than this,
they should also provide basic medical facilities to the visitors so that people will feel safe there.
There are three basic issue which have to be solved by TUI to make improvement in the tourism
industry. Safety issues: AS people now-a-days are feeling not safe in going to another countries
because of safety concerns. This is the major reason that is responsible for decrease in
tourism business (Figini and Vici, 2012). TU should provide safety to the people through
which they will feel comfortable at the tour. Other than this, they should also work on
giving extra facilities t the visitors. Affordable packages: As the prices of tour packages are continuously increases which
reduces the interest of people in planing tours. This is considered as the major issue of the
people that tour packages are getting more expensive. For this problem, TUI should
provide tour packages on discount or also they can make availability of packages on the
basis of different criteria (Haugland and et. al., 2011). Other than this, they should also
provide various offer on the tour packages which make the people attracted towards the
tours. Apart from this they should also work on developing the plans for making visit of
the unique places.
Natural disasters: It is the major issue in front of the people that many countries are
having environmental problems such as sudden change in the climate of the country will
leads to health issues. This thing cannot be handled by TUI group but still they can offer
various facilities to their visitors so that they can reduce the chance of facing major health
issues. They should offer facilities regarding climate of the country so that at the time of
misshapen they can make their people secure (Hays, Page and Buhalis, 2013). This will
help the tourism business to grow in the international market.
CONCLUSION
According to the aforementioned report, it can be concluded that, tourism is the most
profitable business for a county. Major reason for tourist arrival for all the tourist destination is
visit for business purpose. US is ranked on one in the above tourist destination in terms of
number of arrivals. Various features such as cultural, social and physical are there which are
included in affecting appeal of the tourist place. different reasons are there which make the
people like to visit this places such as business purpose and holidays are most common in that.
