INTRODUCTION
Tourist destination is the term whoch is used for the different places where people visit
for different purposes, this is because they like or take interest for visiting different attraction.
Other than that, there are several places which attract different people, it can be said that places
have some qualities and features which attract different people to visit there. Tour and travel
industry is the most growing industry in the today’s era, it helps in enhancing National income
and GDP of the country which have more inbound tourism. In UK, there are large number of
inbound tourism which helps the country to earn more income and generate are employment for
the people of country who are engaged in the different areas of tour and travel. This industry
serves the grater employment to the country as well as it enhances the infrastructure of the
country. With that helps the citizen of the country to raise their standard. For this report Virgin
Holidays have been taken which is the private organisation and it serves different offers to their
customers in the world (Beritelli, 2011). It includes different destination in the world such as
Africa, Australia, Caribbean, South Pacific etc. the report includes different tourist destination
and what are the different changes that has been taken place in the tour and travel industry. The
report also includes the analysis of statistics in order to find future trends of the different
destination of the tour and travel. The report includes evaluation of social, physical and also
cultural destinations to explain the appeal related to the visitors. The report includes some
potential problems which have great impact over different destination and attraction (Di Pietro,
Di Virgilio and Pantano, 2012).

generation
There are different tour and travel industry under which each one of them having
different attraction and destination which helps them to attract large number of tourist from the
world. Virgin holidays is one of the travel organisation which serves different types of offers to
the customers in order to cater to needs and wants of the tourist. Other than that, they have
different destination where they arrange different offers in order to serve highest satisfaction to
their target market (Laws, 2011). UK which is very famous for the tour and travel industry and

this sector is growing day by day. This helps the country to enhance their living standard and
income level of the people (Fernández-Cavia and et. al., 2014). Many of the country have been
influenced by the culture of UK related to the tour and travel industry and they have come to
know the importance of different attraction and destination of their country and how they can use
them in order to enhance this sector. With the help of this sector, people started joining this
industry in order to enhance their income level. Other than that, there are two types of visitor’s
attraction that are international and national(domestic). There are several countries which are

It has been analysed that there are several changes has been taken place in the tour and
travel industry which have created various challenges for those people who are engaged in this
industry. Other than that, demands of the people are changing day by day. They need every
service which helps them to feel comfortable and enjoyment when they visit any destination or
attraction. UK have taken this very seriously and they have generated keen interest to develop
different attraction and destination which helps them to attract and retain different tourists from
several countries (Pandža Bajs, 2015). The expenditure with the help of the day tourists hold by
53% share in almost the 127.4 billion pounds in this field. It has been analysed that one fourth of
the population of the UK have been engaged or employed in tour and travel industry, this have
enhanced their income and living standard. Other than that, it also enhances National income and
increases economic growth of the UK. In the contradicting, Brexit have created negative impact
over the growth or UK from tour and travel industry. People visit UK for several reasons from
which two are main reasons that are leisure and business. The people who are coming for leisure
sill visits UK but the people who are visiting for business purpose have slow down. This is
because United Kingdom is separated from the European Union this have affected the travelling
agencies of the UK (Žabkar, Brenčič and Dmitrović, 2010).

As per the analysis of the above graph, UK have generated large number of employment from
the Tour and Travel industry. There is more than 3.1 people in the UK have been employment in
this sector which is 9.6% of total UK employment. Other than that it have been analysed that
there is 126.9 billion of UK GDP have been generated from the travel industry which is 9% of
the UK GDP. With that this graph state that this is the major sector which serve job career to the
citizen of UK (Sartori, Mottironi and Corigliano, 2012). There is increase in the job opportunities
of the people, around 173000 net increase in the job. The sector is predicted to grow at an annual
rate of 3.8% through to 2025 which is significantly faster than the overall UK economy (with a
predicted annual rate of 3% per annum) and much faster than sectors such as manufacturing,
construction and retail.

In UK as well as in Nepal, there are two key attraction and destinations where people mostly
come. This is because people find keen interest in those destinations. The way by which UK
generate interest of the people in those attractions are their services, they serve different services
related to travel and tour industry which serve the highest level of satisfaction. When Nepal
destination and UK attraction is being compared, UK are leading and the biggest destination and
it is the developed country (López-Toro, Díaz-Muñoz and Perez-Moreno, 2010). When they are
distinguished on the basis of destination and attraction, Nepal have growing visitor’s destination.
When it is compared between the citizen and international tourist, citizen of the country face lots
of issues whereas international tourist are taking several advantages from the tour and travel
industry. There are several social, cultural and physical factors, that affect tour and travel
industry, that are as follows:
Physical factors: It is the internal factor of the tour and travel industry which helps the different
organisation to attract large number of customers for the inbound tourism. When it comes to the
UK, citizen of the country are very helpful, they live together and have cooperative nature for the
people who are coming for the different countries. It is very significant for the people of country
who have large inbound tourist to have helpful nature for the people who are coming from the
different nation in order to visit the different attraction and destination of the country. Other than
that different attraction and destination should be safe and clean. Most of the tourist maintain
high level of hygiene in their life, thus UK need to be consider this factors in order to attract
large customers or tourist from different country (Fernandes, 2011).
Social factors: Social factors includes the behaviour, attitude, perception, language etc. of the
country. This plays very significant role in tour and travel industry of the country. Such as
language, if the new people who is coming in the country will not able to communicate with the

points which have impact over the productivity and probability of this sector. Different ventures
can earn large profit whereas they can also face the situation of loss, this ups and downs will be
faced due to several economic factors (Beritelli, 2011). UK experiences both of the situation, but
mostly they have generated high level of income by taking the advantage of economic factors. .

tourist. Responsible tourism is the type of tourism which have opposite impact over the negative
factors which influence the decision of people for the attraction and destination. In simple words
it can be said that it is the process by which country adopt different ways by which they reduce
the negative impact of the different factors over tour and travel industry (Sartori, Mottironi and

Corigliano, 2012). It is very necessary for UK and the organisation of tour and travel industry to
improve the condition of different attraction and destination with the help of responsible tourism.
There are three major factors that are included in the responsible tourism that are
environmental conservation, culture awareness and economic validity. It is very necessary for the
Virgin holidays to give importance to all these three factors so that it can help them to conduct
their business in profitable manner. The venture should maintain their standard in such a way

the organisation cut trees in order to make the destination more attractive, but ultimately it will
have negative impact over the environment in the future. The venture should not do such

organisation should adopt those activities by which they working condition can be enhances time
to time. It includes preserving the different attraction and destination of UK from natural and
man made hazards.

influence over the tour and travel industry of the UK. There was also a discussion about the
many issues and problems which can effect the popularity and development of different
