This presentation discusses the appeal and characteristics of tourist destinations. It compares the appeal of current leading tourist destinations with that of currently developing tourist destinations. It also evaluates how the characteristics of a tourist destination affect its appeal.

Introduction
Tourist destination refers to such an attractive place where the visitors may
show their willingness and interest to visit in order to spend some leisure time
with their families, relatives and friends. The project covers the statistics to
evaluate predict future trends of visitors destination and discussing about the
analysis of social, physical and culture destinations in order to explain the
appeal related to visitors.

Virgin Holidays is one of the largest organisation which deals in
providing an effective packages to the tourist of different destinations.
UK has attained number of attractive destinations which appeal more to
the visitors as compared to the destinations of Nepal.

3.2: Evaluate how characteristics of a tourist
destination affect its appeal
Economical characteristics: Economy growth play a vital role in the attracting large
number of visitors across worldwide. United Kingdom has attained strong
economy as if make comparison with Nepal thus this is the major reason behind the
success of tourist destinations. United Kingdom has already attained strong identity
in travel and tourist industry due to having various number of destinations but on
the other side, Nepal is emerging tourist country which are faces lots of natural
calamities and hazards which pushes them around 10 years before.

Physical characteristics: The economy of United Kingdom has increased due to which
they attract large number of visitors. Attaining large number of visitors increases
revenue of UK government due to which they have adequate amount of funds to
invest in adopting an advanced technology and an effective infrastructures.
Through having such infrastructures, UK has ensured visitors to travel without
facing any difficulties which increases their satisfaction level as well whereas in
case of Nepal, due to having lack of funds they are unable to provide an effective
infrastructures thus failed to attracts large number of visitors. As Nepal has suffered
from lots of natural hazards which increases the fear in visitor to travel at such
places.

Subject: Effect of characteristics on tourist destination on Cuba
An economic situations of each country plays an important role in attracting maximum number
of customers. The number of destination in Cuba is Spy Vintage Cars. Cruise Havana in a '50s
classic American car, Sample Fine Rum,Spot Colourful Architecture, Roll Cuban Cigars,
Follow In Hemingway's Footsteps, Kickback On White Beaches etc. This will easily attract
visitors to visit at Cuba and spend some leisure time with their families or relatives.
