INTRODUCTION On the economy of the country there is a huge impact due to tourism sector. Across theglobe this sector have provided job opportunities for many unemployed employees and is also agood source of creation of income. In some parts of countries it also considered as an importantsource of welfare (Kim, Holland and Han, 2013). The tourists that are choosing differentdestination as per their desire and needs. More and more countries are trying to improve theirdestination in order to increase the n umber of tourist in their country. The goal of tourismsectors is to provide the tourists with best experience during their travel. There are manybeautiful place in the UK that can be visited by the tourists.In this report the well-known destination of the world will be presented in terms of theirrank and income generation. This report will also represent the latest trends in the touristdestination. The various features such as social, culture and physical features etc of touristdestination will also be shown. A comparison of developed and developing countries will be alsoconducted in this report. This report will also present the issues that affects the popularity oftourist destination.TASK-11.1 The main tourist destinations of the world in terms of numbers and income generationThe country is called a tourist receiving country when the number of tourists that arevisiting that particular country are more in number. For an instance if the number of tourist thatare visiting China for their travel then China will be termed as a tourist receiving country. Thecountry is termed as tourist generator company when the number of tourist are generated fromthat particular country. For an instance if the n umber of tourist that coming form Spain are morethan it will defined a tourist generating country. France is the highest tourist receiving country inthe world as the number of tourist that are visiting France are more in number in comparisonwith other countries of the world. Every year the number of visitors are also visiting Germanyfor global destination. The London, Manchester ,Cambridge , Glasgow etc are the majordestination of tourists in the UK (Komppula, 2014). From the above graph it can be concluded that from 2006 to 2010 the number of tourist that arevisiting and the money that is spent by them in this destination is being increasing.The London is the most visited tourist destination of the UK. London is being visited byboth domestic and international visitors. The various attractions are there in London which isbeing visited by tourists. More than 14 million tourist from oversees were there in London in theyear 2013 who visited London. Towards the economy of UK 14 million dollar is contributed byLondon. The economic significance of London is good. For the development of economy ofLondon the sectors of tourism is considered as a primary factor. The huge revenue is earned bytourism when the number of visitors that are visiting London do shopping and visit exhibitions ofLondon. The opportunities of job are proved by tourism sectors (Telfer and Sharpley, 2015). Thevarious initiative is also taking by the government of UK in order to proved tourist with betterservices in this country. In order to increase the number of tourist that are visiting UK thegovernment have invested a lot of money in online advertisement. By these advertisements thetourist will come to know about facilities and services and beautiful attractive spots of UK.The Olympic games that have been held in UK have provided major attraction to peoplewho are visiting UK.
