INTRODUCTION
To visit a place or make the travelling memorable it is necessary that one should have
planned the adequate destination and with help of various travelling agencies. Hence, in the
present assessment there will be discussion based on the statistic relevant to the numbers of
visitor visits the most popular tourist destinations. Thus, traveller will be advised to visit the
places in accordance with their income generation, generator of visitors. Further the discussion
will evaluate the trend line for the numbers of visitors such destinations have in the future.
However, various tourist destination throughout the world will be analysed and compared with
UK in terms of revenue gathering and the numbers of travellers in the year. The report will also
shed some lights over the barriers and obstacle at various locations which will distract the
tourists.
TASK 1
1.1 Analysing the main tourist destinations in accordance with numbers of visitors
By considering the main tourists places in various countries which can be decided in
context with the numbers of tourists received by them. Hence, UK is the country who has large
numbers of tourists in each year and have the leading and most preferable place by tourists.
Thus, it can be said that the country is the tourist generator which in turn place the nation at the
top 6 tourists destination place (Horner and Swarbrooke, 2016). In the year 2017 there has been
39.7 million visitors were recorded which is very fruitful and profitable for the country in
generating the adequate turnover or promoting small scale tour agencies. However, in the current
year the numbers of traveller increased in visiting UK which is 6% more than the previous year.
It describes that people would like and preferred to visit UK.

However, In accordance with the income generation of the individuals people preferred
to visit the destination like, sea, resorts and the adventures places which will be over their choice
and interest of visiting such places. Hence, there are many locations in different countries which
have impact over increase the trend of tourism (Iniesta-Bonillo, Sánchez-Fernández and
Jiménez-Castillo, 2016). Thus, in accordance with income generator on which UK stands at 6th
position which is lead by the countries like France, USA, China, Spain and Germany. Moreover,
with the help of increase in the numbers of traveller in the country there has been favourable
revenue gathering by the nation through such visitors such as 25.7 billion which is 14% higher
than the previous year's income such as 22.5 billion.
1.2 Statistics for analysing trends of tourism destination.
In context with the numbers of tourists visits UK and the other top most countries in the
such segmentation there will be tough competition. Hence, in terms of France the country has the
large numbers of tourist than compare to UK or any other country it is due to various location
and destination in the country which attracts people to visits them (Yang and et.al., 2017).
Hence, apart from destination the cultural environment of France is also very fruitful and easily
adjustable. The main advantage of this nation is that there have lower rates in the currency,
travelling and hospitality services which are easily affordable and comparatively cheaper than
UK.
However, on the other side revenue obtained by Ireland which is comparatively higher
than France is due to the stable economy and the currency rates in the country is adequate. There
may be equal numbers of visitors in both the nations but the variation in their earning or income
gathering is due to the changes in the currency rates and the financial stabilities of the nations (de
Oliveira Santos and Giraldi, 2017). Hence, France is facing the financial crisis and have higher
debts in comparison with other nations so the revenue generated through tourism is not proper
and they may have reduction in the economic standards On the other side France is said to be the
top moist country in such tourism attraction destinations which is covering higher employment
which in turn fruitful for the citizens in having better job opportunities. Thus, there will be
various big countries such as India, China, Brazil, Australia etc. which are challenging such
nation in the tourism sector. Hence, it can be said in order to attract the maximum numbers of
tourists in the nation there are several points which are to be considered by the government such
