1TOYOTA CORP. Background of organization and its IT system Toyota is an organization which deals with automobile manufacturing, it is based in Japan. Toyota had been established on August 28 in the year 1937 (Su, Levina & Ross, 2016). This organization provides various financial services and participates with numerous fields of businesses (Matsuo, 2015). Toyota manufactures vehicles under its own brand name. Their vehicles are popular in terms of reliability, longevity, engineering, value and quality. The IT system used by Toyota allows it to exchange data for customers for the purpose of extended web based information as well as duration of their purchase (Matsuo, 2015). The system adopted by Toyota is a lean system; it helps the organization in introducing a pull system consisting of short lead time and compromising two consecutive components (Liker & Jeffrey 2018). Toyota had adapted to the market conditions of automobiles readily and the usage of IT systems had increased their efficiency even more (Frank, 2016). The company had started conducting an audit of their performances and confirmed regarding the information that they already had, IT experts were hired in order to incorporate the IT system to their business (Geerken & Borup, 2017). They had also undertaken various steps that helped them in adopting various methods of utilizing IT systems for improving performance of the business.
