Main objective of this essay is to better understand the concept of organisation and group
of employees. An organisation refers to a group of people who are working together for the
achievement of common goal (Dirksen, 2021). It is analysis that for success of any organisation

For this their employees will require effective training and development programs. These
programs will assist in enhancing the knowledge and skills of their employees. Which will not

consideration. Which is a retail multinational company. And the selected group of employees are
from marketing department. This essay will include the overview of company and group of
employees. Other than this it will include three methods of training and development along with
their advantage & disadvantage. It is also define how these methods will improve employee

shops and deal with various kind of products in their supermarkets, hypermarkets, superstores
and convenience shop. More than 423,092 numbers of employees are currently working with
TESCO company (Tesco PLC - Statistics and Facts, 2021). They will use various effective
methods for enhancing the skills & knowledge of their employees which will assist both
company as well as employees development. Selected company will diversified into various
areas such as by retailing of books, clothings, electronic, and so on. They will also provide
services like financial & internet service to their customers.

from marketing department of company. This department of organisation will responsible for
better analysing the needs and demand of their customers and with the help of appropriate
strategies they are require to effectively differentiate their product and services form the
competitors. Marketing department of organisation will responsible for attracting customers
towards company brand or products. It is an important department of organisation which will
help company to create an effective brand image and enhance profitability of company.
Employees in marketing department will require to effective develop their skills and knowledge
in order to successfully achieve the organisation goal. For better efficiency these employees will
require to develop various skill such as research skill, communication skill, creative thinking
skill and so on. By developing these skills employees are able to effectively conduct an market
research and better analysis the needs and preferences of their customers. It is analysis that taste
& preferences of customers are rapidly changes, for better satisfying their needs employees of
marketing department are require to better understand their requirement which is possible only
by developing research skill (Jiang, Lavaysse, and Probst, 2019).
