INTRODUCTION
Transition plan is the process and is not a one – off event for the teachers, schools and
children who are involved in it. This helps in knowing that the there is certain procedure and
process which is to be followed and this creates value of education and learning process which is
undergone by the students and children (Dockett and et.al., 2021). The timing of activities is also
very important as it ensures that how much the student will invest their time in participating in
activities at large scale.
The transition plan is therefore a whole time process which is being framed to ensure that
teachers and students are taking concern of all the activities and are taking part in them which is
concerned with points of continuity of learning and respect for diversity which helps in engaging
the students and children at large scale. The main aim of transition plan is that it will help the
students and children in knowing and analyzing aspects of growth and development at large scale
which are being taken for education and learning purpose of children. The transition plan helps
on denoting value and knowledge through proper schedules which are being conducted for the
transition of school plan.
RATIONALE
Transition to school plan is the process to help children and students with an Individualized
Education Program (IEP) to help them decide that what they wish to do in high school and it also
helps them figuring out on how to get there. The purpose of the transition plan is to prepare the
children and teens to be independent young adults. For explaining the basis of transitional to
school plan there are three main points to be focused on which will help in knowing the basis
through which all major aspects of how children are able to decided about their future and other
factors are known (Henderson, 2021). The rationale will include major two points which will be
in consideration as to how transition plan is framed at large scale and will consider the reason to
include activities in Transition to School Plan.
These points are described in detail as –
Continuity of Learning – By framing certain activities in transition to school plan the children
will be able to learn many new things by participating in those activities. The children will be
able to achieve the results as per desired by fulfilling their process of learning and knowing that

all major changes have been taken place by keeping in mind the learning aspects and how they
are growing and developing in a certain scenario. With continuity in learning children experience
many things and changes which are around them and they move with those changes while
improving themselves. Learning is supported by sharing the information and clarifying the
responsibilities. Learning is meant to be moving from one space to another which equips
children to manage their everyday lives and concern about their future (Bertrand, 2020). This
also helps children to ensure that they are learning right things which enable them to succeed in
their career and personal lives. With the help of activities which will be undertaken, children will
participate in activities and ensure that they are engaged in it creatively by following all aspects
and factors of taking part in activities. By taking part in activities, children will be able to
develop their skills and knowledge. There will be increased understanding of how children
initiate their stands and are involved with other students in process of learning new things.
Continuity of learning with the help of framing the transition to school plan helps the
children to demonstrate their key roles and responsibilities as children and what they need to
learn at large scale (Manchester, 2018). When activities will be included in the transition to
school plan children will feel more motivated will help themselves in learning new things which
will help them to know that they are improving their learning and knowledge by participating in
the activities at large scale. Children will be able to think more creatively and will be actively
taking part in curriculums which are being designed for them in the school.
By including and initiating the activities to be the part of transition plan of school then it will
boost the confidence of children. They will be more includes towards taking part in some
creatively field which are different types of activities which will be undertaken at large scale.
The activities will also help in improving and gaining the knowledge as the children are fast
learners and they are engaged in learning new thing when exposed to creative environment. With
the help of article “The transition to School” it is also analyzed that while taking part in the
activities socio – cognitive skills of children are also improved which helps them to know more
about the aspects of gaining and learning by participating in the activities (The transition to
school, 2022). This helps in knowing that children are interested in gaining knowledge from the
activities which also encourages them to perform well in their school lives. The article helped to
analyze and demonstrate that children are fast learners and that their cognitive skills are

improved which helps them to understand the aspects of growth and development within
themselves and how they wish to see their future.
The article also explains that along with socio – cognitive skills, there are various other
skills which help the children and students to grow and develop themselves from the learning
environment. The major activities which are included in the plan will be described by knowing
that how the children are seeking process of learning and are continuing with it (Sarkis, 2021).
By continuing with the activities there will be increase in their confidence, they will feel
encouraged and motivated towards growing more and developing the skills at large scale, they
will be able to gain knowledge which will help them to know that they are working towards right
direction. Teachers with the help of transition plan will help to acknowledge and guide the
children to evaluate their performances in the activities by helping them improve successfully.
Respect for Diversity - With the help of transition to school plan which has been framed,
activities should be farmed so that there is diversity in the learning of the children which are
engaged in learning process through the activities. Initiating the idea of activities, there will be
respect for the diversity for the types of children who are seeking the knowledge. With the help
of the article information “Planning for Transition for Special Education”, it is analyzed that the
children with disabilities which are Aboriginal and are having Torres Strait Islander families
there is special care which is to be provided to the children in concern with their education and
learning. There should be respect which should be provided to them in concerning with their
learning schedules and the type of education they are capable to grab (Bakhshi and et.al., 2018).
There are different strategies which are drawn upon by the teachers for helping the students
having diverse backgrounds is having different abilities and disabilities.
The article says that there should be child – centered planning which involves the new ideas
and ways of learning helping the children to learn through the studies. And for this self –
determination curriculum should be farmed which helps in knowing that there is respect for
diversity and the changes have been taking place at large scale. Transition plan takes concern of
the respect for diversity which helps in knowing that there can be changes which can be made
and this helps in knowing that all major aspects of learning are concerned in the manner that
diversity of children is being respected (Hesketh, 2019). Respect of diversity helps in
understanding the scale of children which helps in knowing that special education and activities
should conducted with the children and students having certain types of disabilities and

problems. The children having Torres Strait Islander families should participate in the activities
which are designed for them. The main aim of the children is that they should be encouraged by
participating in the activities.
Diversity is the factor which should be respected as this helps in knowing that with the help
of activities, children are being encouraged and participate in the activities. It is very important
to know and analyze that diversity is the major factor which should be respected such that the
children coming from diverse backgrounds which also includes disabilities and abilities plunging
with them are idealized at large scale and this helps in knowing that diversity is to be respected
in all manner. The article “Planning for Transition for Special Education” also focuses on the
aspects of different types of disabilities and the process of education which should be provided to
children while suffering from those disabilities at large scale (Planning for Transition in Special
Education, 2020). The main aim of the research was that it helped in knowing that self –
determination is the theory which helps the students of children having any type of disability as
this theory motivated the children or students to participate in the activities which were framed
and also to live lives so that they are not facing any type of pressure from their parents and
families (Chable and et.al., 2020). Self – determination was the tool which was explained and
was considered for the children as they are in their learning and growing age as to how the
changes can be made concerning their growth and development. The main aim of the transition
plan was also framed so that the activities are framed for the special families and education
provided to their children.
Diversity is the aspect which helps in understanding the basis through which all major things
are being considered and the manner in which learning and education is provided to the children
from diverse cultures and backgrounds. This helps in understanding the basis as to how the
activities play major role in the lives of students and how they are able to gain knowledge,
confidence, are motivated and encouraged to perform better in an appropriate manner.
The basis through which all aspects of growth and development are considered are valued
through the diversity which helps in providing and scaling the basis as to how the changes and
modifications can be done for the students and children who are suffering from different types of
disabilities as mentioned - Aboriginal and are having Torres Strait Islander families. Therefore,
respect of diversity will help in knowing that teachers are more concerned about framing the
transition to school plan (Byrne, 2019). The main reason of creating value for the transition plan

is that it helps in knowing the basis through which all aspects of growth and development for the
children and in their future planning is considered. Diversity is to be respected as it helps in
denting the variation of activities which are framed for welfare and improvement of skills for the
students or children in an effective and efficient manner.
CONCLUSION
Thus, it is concluded form the above report that main points for the transition plan which
were – continuity of learning and respect for diversity helped in knowing that the transition plan
was framed by concerning these points and these points also provided the reason as to why the
activities should be undertaken or framed for the students and children by the teachers.
It is very important to have successful transition as basis of education and learning is
framed for the children and students on that basis and this helps in knowing that the transition
plan is helpful for ensuring aspects of growth and development in the children as they are also
able to idealize and acknowledge their future skills and knowledge based on transition plan when
covering all essential information which is regarding respect for diversity and continuity of
learning. Both the points are important for initiating successful transitions as this helps in
knowing the basis as to how the changes and modifications can be made which helps in
developing the education and learning basis for students and engaged in participating in the
activities in an appropriate manner which helps them increase their confidence and motivates
them to grow more.
