For migrants interested in business they are issued short term visas for either single entry or for multiple entries and those interested in temporary business are issued with long term visas allowing highly skilled personnel to come to Australia to work for an approved employer for up to four years (Janet 2006). Moreover, an increase or decrease of the Australian securities exchange will influence the entering ofmigrant workers. The economy and stock market affect the success of different companies, and this achievement or failure flows down the business chain and affects its employees who could be transnational migrant workers. It also can affect the hiring rate of people due to the company's power to do so with their profits (Economic System Australia 2007).Legal SystemNext, the Australian legal system includes both the Statutory Law and Common Law but the laws may differ in each country. Therefore, the employment rate of high skilled migrant workers will be affected by the acceptance of projects in the country depending on the approval of the legal system ('Overview of the Australian Legal System' n.d.).Informal economyThe informal economy of most countries are corruption.According to the Transparency International,Australian industries is less based on the Corruption Perceptions Index that was determined by expertassessments and opinion surveys (Corruption Perceptions Index 2017). discuss the different aspects of Australia’s social culture and then interpret it on how it would affect high skilled migrant workers in Australia. Appendix 1- Australia - Geert HofstedeIndividualism and IndulgenceThis research shows that Australia has a score of 90 when it comes to Individualism and 71 in indulgence ('Australia - Geert Hofstede' n.d.). This proves that Australia's culture is one where people look after mainly on themselves and their immediate families including the business world initiative and self reliance that is ranked highly. In addition to this it also shows that Australian culture is one of the indulgence where people like to enjoy themselves through leisureand spending their money on necessities and luxuries items or lifestyle. In business this shows that Australia does have competition among each other and overseer. This competition or rivalry is because people are trying to look after their own interests but on the contrary know that once they are out of work they would like to spend their time and money on hobbies and interest that satisfies there indulgent side. Masculinity and Uncertainty AvoidanceWhen looking at the other aspects, Australia received a score of 61 in masculinity and 51 in uncertainty avoidance ('Australia - Geert Hofstede' n.d.). This shows that society in Australia places strength on the masculine traits such as striving to be the best you can be and "winner takes it all". In addition to this a medium score of 51 in Uncertainty Avoidance shows that Australian people are divided by whether they like being in an ambiguous or unknown situations. This can be related to business as it could be said that success is based on winning and this creates competition and rivalry throughout business but remains neutral on whether they like to compete in ambiguous situations or remain in comfortable situations.Power distance and Long Term Orientation
