The Lake District is the largest national park located in the north-west corner of England and there are various activities which are associated with the location which helps in attracting both domestic and inbound visitors. There are various transport options which are available for reaching Lake District which includes public transport options by trains and buses and by bike. The trains offer the facility to the tourists to carry their bike along with them in the train. Lake District is by car either through personal car, or by renting a car or by sharing a car with other tourists. The Lake District can also be reached by air with the nearest airport being Manchester to the south and Glasgow to the north. In the coming days. In order to identify the gaps regarding the expectations of the tourists, the tourism development bodies should focus on collecting tourist responses in the form of feedbacks which will help in proper understanding of tourist satisfaction regarding a destination.
