airport infrastructure and now its has
highly developed airports providing
quality services.
4) safety for travelling to destinations (300 words) (20%):
Country 1
According to FCO, Indonesia is not considered
as much safest place to travel due its high
political instability as well as high level of
corruption. As per the updated report of FCO,
although Indonesia is safer country for traveling
but it still have the danger of various natural
disasters to the terrorism as well as petty theft.
Thus, die to high risk of terrorist and disaster,
Indonesia in not considered as much safe place
for traveling (Bernard, Moxnes and Saito,
2019).
Country 2
In comparison to other countries and the latest
report of FCO, India generally have low rate of
crime and thus this makes India as much safe
place to travel. Although, Delhi generally less
safe than the other parts of India due to fairly
high rate of crime but still India is considered as
the most safest place where the rate of crime is
very low. Thus, according to FCO, India is the
pace where people can easily travel without
having any fear (Asgari, Jin and Rojas IV,
2019).

neighbouring country of destinations.
Indonesia mainly shares its land borders with the Malaysia and this is the prominent neighboring
country of Indonesia. Generally due to high level of corruption in Indonesia, Malaysia also is
considered as not so safe p;ace for traveling. Due to sharing of border from Indonesia, Malaysia is
likely to be exposed to high risk of the terrorist attacks and this makes this place as unsafe for the
tourists (Woods, Holloway and Panelli, 2016).
India generally shares its borders with various neighboring countries and one of the most well-
known is Sri Lanka. Since past few years, tourism in Sri Lanka has increased to a great extent.
Since end of the war, Sri Lanka has mainly rebuilded its tourism and have made a great place for
tourists. Thus, low rate of corruption in this pace makes it a safe place to travel for the tourists.
5) environmental or natural disasters in selected destination
Country 1
Indonesia has recently faced a great
environmental disaster in the year 2018 which
has affected the country and its neighboring

people. Due to this natural disaster, the air
transport activity has been hindered in
Indonesia (Pike and Lubell, 2016). This
disaster eventually reduced the number of
tourists traveling to the various cities and
neighboring countries of Indonesia. This
disaster also affected the rank of Indonesia in
the list of tourism and thus the transport in the
year of disaster was banned in Indonesia.
people. This flood eventually reduced the
number of tourists in India and tourism was
highly affected. In the 2019, as a result of this
flood, immigration and traveling in India was
generally banned and stopped which resulted in
low number of tourists traveling to this country
(Castree, 2019).
6) accessibility as well as connectivity of destinations
key international airports as well as flights
Country 1
The key international airports in
Indonesia are Soekarno Hatta
International airport, Juanda Airport,
Blimbingsari etc. These airports are the
one where the large number of flights
travel from Indonesia to UK and other
destination countries. Besides this, there
are various flights through which tourists
travel from Indonesia to their place of
interest and these flights are Maindo
airways, Srilankan airlines, Tiger airways
etc. The major visa requirements which is
being considered when tourist travel
from Indonesia to the source market is
that the tourists must hod the passport
which is valid for at least six months with
two blank visa pages (Holt-Jensen,
2018).
Country 2
The key international airport in India are Indira
Gandhi international airport, Dabolim airport,
Sardar vallabhbhai Patel international airport
etc. These airports are mainly divided into
domestic and international airport for people
traveling within India or outside the India. The
major flights which flew from India to London
or any other source markets are Air India, Jet
airways, Virgin Atlantic etc. These flights mainly
flew from India to various places at much low
prices. The visa requirement which is
considered while traveling from India to any
source market are that the passport should be
valid for 6 months from date of the intended
travel (Kellerman, 2018).

7) political stability in both countries
Country 1
The political stability within Indonesia is not
well-developed and thus due to frequently
changing government and high level of
corruption, the country has faced many
consequences. Due to the recent presidential
election in Indonesia in year 2019, there has
been a great transfer of power which has
resulted in decentralization and thus have given
rise to high level of corruption. Due to this, the
relation of Indonesia with its various
neighboring countries like Malaysia, Singapore,
Vietnam etc have been hindered and this has
impacted the level of tourism (Bernard,
Moxnes and Saito, 2019). Due to the bad
relation with these countries, tourists in
Indonesia and other countries have declined to
more than 65.6%.
Country 2
The political stability in India is highly well-
structured and thus the country is highly stable
with low level of corruption as well as low
terrorism. The government in India is highly
centralized and the power of regime mainly
rests in the hand of political parties in different
regions. This eventually makes India a highly
political stable country resulting in low level of
corruption and crimes. The relation of India
with their neighboring countries like China,
Nepal, Sri Lanka are harmonious and peaceful
and this has increased the level of tourism. Due
to harmonious relation, tourists tend to travel
various places like Nepal, china in great number
and this increases the level of tourism (Asgari,
Jin and Rojas IV, 2019).
Conclusion:
It has been summarized that between the two countries which are Indonesia and India, one of the

most safe place and secure destination in India. In Indonesia, there is high political instability as
well as great level of corruption due to frequently chafing government. This change in government
has increased terrorism in country and along with this, Indonesia has been prey of various natural
disaster like flood due to high level of deforestation thus this makes Indonesia unsafe place to
travel.
On the other hand, India is highly politically stable country with a fixed form of
government and this has resulted in low level of crime and terrorism in India. Besides this, from
past few years India has been ranked on the 8th position in terms of the country where natural
disaster does not occur frequently, Thus, this makes this country as the most safest place to travel
for the tourists from different locations.
