Occupational therapycan be commenced todevelop self- dependantmentality(TarakciOzdinclerTarakciTutuncuoglu & Ozmen,2013). Physiotherapy can bedone toimprovemusclefunction.Exercisesthat will helpimprove thestrength ofthe child(RyanCassidyNoorduyn &O'Connell,2017). Thetreatmentcan alsoimprove thesensation oftheextremities.Painmedicationscan beprovided toreduce painduringexercise orphysiotherapy. Care hasto be takenso that thechild is givelow doses ofpainmedication.Regularexercise andtherapysessions,which willhelp thechild,maintainproperposture andbalance(RyanCassidyNoorduyn&O'Connell,2017). Helpthe childstand ofwalkwithouthelp fromothers.Improve thecoordinatedmovementof theextremities.The mainobjective oftheinterventionwill be topromoteindependence in the lifeand able toperformdailyactivities.Evaluationof theassessmentchart will befocused ontheimprovedhealthoutcome ofthe child(Romito etal., 2015).The gradingcould beperformedbased on thechild’sability toindependently performactivitiesand activelyparticipatein games.
