As we know, sport is not limited to the athletes or recreation, it is actually a big foci for the national economy with sales of goods and services across the globe. The audience can see the on stage performance of the athletes, but the backend is the most important process forthe whole organisation’s glory. The pillars of the sport organisation are being balanced by the administrative and management department, beginning from the selection of the board members, players, executive level employees, middle management employees, employees for maintaining the stardom of the athlete and outflow/inflow of business. We can clearly see that Sport is changing at a fast pace because of incorporation of technology into its delivery system and management. There are outcomes which cannot be predicted because of the nouveau technological aspects that pop in at any time and in every phase of sport. Administration plays the most important part at maintenance of the sport industry, and as said earlier, a country’s growth can be judged by the technological advancements it has made. Administration gets better with technology and a report by the Australian Commission on Sport supports it by saying “Australia has developed an international reputation for sporting excellence, through our national team performances, the staging of major international events including the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the 2003 Rugby World Cup and the Federal Government is supportive of the Football Federation’s bid to bring the World Cup to Australia in 2018.”Sport industry brings a good amount of revenue to Australia. According to a report by BCG (2017), over 90% adults have an active interest in sport and around 8 million attend live sports events every year. In 1973, the Government of Australia commissioned Professor John Bloomfield to prepare a plan for sports. He wrote a report by the title The Role, Scopeand Development of Recreation in Australia, which was inspired by the success of sports institutes in Europe at developing elite athletes (Bloomfield, 1974). He suggested that the federal government should establish a national institute of sport similar to those operating in the European countries. So, in 1981, on the Australia day- 26th January, the Australian Institute of Sport was established by Prime Minister Malcom Fraser and since then, sport has gained popularity for a successful career. Within 3 years of establishment of the AIS, Australia started winning at the elite Olympics and recorded best gymnastics performance, along with 12 medals in swimming, under the directorship of Don Talbot, the renowned swim coach.
