Sainsbury was founded in 1869, by John James. Sainsbury is thelargest retailer of groceries.Type – J. Sainsbury plc, is a retailing industry, it operates through four segments such asretail -food, retail – general Merchandise and clothing. Convenience store andSupermarket are operated by the Sainsbury and also it facilitates many services suchonline grocery and general merchandise operation and also provide electrical andtechnology products. Sainsbury consider as a large retailing industry with 608supermarkets and 815 stores that is very big figure to make the industry different fromother (Andriof and Waddock, 2017).Purpose – The first and foremost purpose of Sainsbury is that to ensure that to providethe highest level of customers services and also to make sure that the quality of theproducts satisfied the customers.
