INTRODUCTION
Cloud computing is termed as on-demand availability of computer system which is
especially used in data storage, data retrieval and various computing resources without the direct
involvement of the user. It allows the practice of hosting the servers remotely via internet in
order to store, manage and process the data on cloud rather than a local server or personal
computer. This study will be based on the cloud computing technology of the GTGOV
organization who is planning to migrate its web servers to Iass instance in AWS. This report will
provide various architecture solutions to support the appropriate web services.
Initial Web server trial
Formulation of the Selected web server in DTGOV and effects of these web services to users
AWS (Amazon web service) is a web service that provides the secure and resizeable
compute capacity in the cloud. It is mainly designed to make web-scale computing easier for
developers. The Amazon web service interface allows the user to obtain and configure the
capacity with minimal friction (Dastjerdi And et.al., 2016). It also reduces the time required to
boot new server instances and also allow the users to quickly scale the capacity according to the
change in the computing requirements. This is mainly belongs to Infrastructure as a service
which allows on demand instances. DTGOV migration plan will be benefited to the company
and effects the users in various ways such as :
ď‚· It provides secured infrastructure to users and also helps in securing the private
information of the users.
ď‚· It may negatively affects the users as the attackers can easily gain the access to control
panel and demand money.
ď‚· AWS environment reduce the potential impact of a cyber attacks
Types of cloud architectures and replications of the current web server used in GTGOV
Cloud computing architecture refers to components and subcomponents required for
cloud computing (Garcia Lopez and et.al., 2015). These typically consists of platforms such as
front-end, back-end, cloud based delivery and network such components are described below:
Front end platform Consists of fat client, thin client and mobile devices. Such clients interact
with cloud data storage via application, browser or virtual session.
Back-end platform Includes the server and storage of the database which may consists of cloud
based delivery. It allows the users to write service side code and other services.

Cloud based delivery and a network includes various models such as Software as a service,
Platform as a service, infrastructure as a service etc.
GTGOV current web services need to be replaced with Iaas Services in AWS environment
because it provides cost effective and scalable deployment of the apps (Quilachamin, Alonso and
Ra-Tapia, 2018). it provides the developers to create customised apps and advances easy
migration to hybrid model.
Office 365
Determine the best way for office automation customers and Benefits along with issues related to
the migration of the web service towards Office 365
Office automation refers varied computer machinery and software which is used to
digitally create, collect store and manipulate the Office information needed for accomplishing for
basic tasks (Rashid and Chaturvedi, 2019). Various benefits involved in GTGOV related to the
office automation are as follows:
ď‚· It improves the productivity and optimise existing office procedure
ď‚· It saves the time, money and human efforts.
Issues related with the migration of Office automation suite 365 are as follows:
ď‚· Increased operational cost
ď‚· Decreased diversity of hardware platforms.
ď‚· Customised requirements
Difference between cloud based approach and on-premise data centre
On premises refers to private data centres that companies generally house their own
facilities and maintains the web services. It is used to run private clouds which generally contains
virtualised compute resources in as a public clouds. On the other hand GTGOV wants to expand
its business operations so they need to develop the effective cloud based services. So cloud
computing highly encrypted data (Villamizar, and et.al., 2016). It allows the capacity to easily
scale up and down the web services. It allows the used based prices to GTGOV. It also provides
the automated data backups and recovery.

Considerable web services for GTGOV
Saas is considerably the best solution for the problem of GTGOV as it can be easily
managed from the central location and hosted on the remote server. Various situations in which
Saas will be most beneficial for the GTGOV are as follows:
ď‚· This can provide easy access for both web and mobile access.
ď‚· GTGOV will be beneficial in launching e-commerce with the help of such model.
ď‚· It also reduces the time consumption on installing, managing and upgrading the software
Difference between different models
Iaas Saas Paas
Infrastructure as a service
allow GTGOV to buy compute
environment, storage disks,
operating system etc from the
cloud service provider.
In Software as a service, most
of the services are generally
managed by service provider.
Platform as a service helps
GTGOV in controlling the
database and which are
provided as a managed
services via service providers.
It easily allows for the
automated deployment of
storage, networking, server
and processing power.
It utilises the internet to deliver
the applications to its users
which are generally
maintained by third party
vendor.
It allows the businesses to
design and create applications
in order to provide proper
platform for software creation.
Some recommendations to use the most appropriate model
Iaas is one of the most recommending model which should be adopted by DTGOV in
order to enhance the scalability and flexibility of the services (Rashid and Chaturvedi, 2019).
Share point on Microsoft allows GTGOV to transform the services easily to new upgraded on-
premises version or share point online. There are typical following share point deployment
scenarios on Microsoft Azure which may vary according to different expectations:
ď‚· It allows the IT teams of GTGOV in more focused towards innovation and application
and solutions. It also provides the utility service model which allows the users in pay-per-
use.
