INTRODUCTION
Business is an economic activity which are prevalent in the capitalist economics. In this
the goods and services are exchanged with one another for money. The business environment is
total of all the thongs which effect the organisation and their operations. It include the social,
economic and political attributes in which the business operations is conducted. Organisations
chosen in this report are UK sport as public company, Admiral sportswear as a private
organisation and Sobell leisure centre as the voluntary company. This report will include the
different types and purpose of the organisation, scope and size of the company, structure and
scope of different organisation, relationship between different organisation function and
complexities of various organisation and structure (arcus, 2020).
Main Body
Different types and purpose of the sport organisational
Public sector- Those businesses which are operating within the public sector, they will be
government funded. The main aim of these industry is to provide service to their general public
and they do not want to earn any profit. They provide such types of services so that peoples so that
they can take part in the sports as more people as possible.
Purpose: Break even rather than to make a profit.
Providing facilities at cheaper cost to everyone, who can not afford services within private sector
(Chaithanapat and Rakthin, 2021).
Legal structure
Central government- In this, the public sectors are controlled by the central government.
These companies funded by the government thorough their treasury collection.
State government- Only some particular department control over theses sectors and there
is a little bit interference of the central government.
Local government- These companies are comes under and controlled by municipal
authorities and generate revenue for the local communities.

Private sector- The main aim of these companies is to making profit as much as possible. The
cost of sport accessing in these companies is more than the similar services within the public
companies. De to this, some member can not afford that cost and they take part in such types of
games.
Purpose: To make the profit out of the sport
To make the return on investment for them.
Legal structure
Sole proprietorship- It is not a legal entity and simply refers to that person who owns
their business and personally responsible for all debts.
Partnership- It include two or more persons and agree to share all profit and losses in the
business.
There is unincorporated entities and they are personally responsible for all debts or losses which
the business undertake.
Voluntary sector- These sectors are made up of the inclusive and exclusive cubs, which are non-
profit making organisations. These are essentially managed by and for the women and amateur
sportsmen. The majority of the amateur clubs like Sunday league football teams are the voluntary
run.
Purpose- Hand the management of the sports centres to the private sector organisations.
Providing affordable, inclusive and well run opportunities ( Fanidis and Moulos,, 2021).
Legal structures
Trust- These are set up to manage the money and the property for a clear defined purpose.
The trustees are personally liable for the contracts entered into on the behalf of trust.
Unincorporated dissociation- It is ideal for the small groups with the membership and it
is cheap and quick to set up. It has no separate legal existence.
Size and scope of range of different types of organisations
Public company- UK sports
It is the is a nation's trusted high performance experts, teams, powering the great athletes sports
and events to achieve the positive success.
