1.1 Explain the sequence and rate of each aspect of development from birth –
19 years.
Children’s development begins from their birth the selective sequence of development
so the first stage of development is physical development under which fine and gross
motor skills develop, which involves the standing by their own, pick pen, food etc.
then till 19 these motors skills get completely developed. Then another sequence in
children’s to 19 year youngsters development is language, social, emotional and
intellectual. All these sequence of development start with the initial small knowledge
and skills, which get well developed and stronger till 19 year of youngsters. Such till
19 children’s become emotionally stronger and understanding, able to generate
intellectual idea and able effectively communicate which starts from the rate of single
word and improved in the form of fluent conversation.
1.2 Explain the difference between sequence of development and rate of
development and why the difference is important.
Sequence of development means the stages of different skills and knowledge developed by
the children’s and youngsters. Rate of development means the level of development
achieved within the selected period of development stages. For example the sequence of
development is when child started picking small things and then bigger, in other hand rate
of development- mean the amount of development done within the particular period of time.
That is important to know the difference between sequences and rate of development-
because it helps to analyse the health and development condition of children’s and
youngster. That they are posing the normal development stages or not if there are not
developing the ranges of skills and knowledge with the right stage then it can be considerer
as unhealthy condition and professionals need.
2.1 Explain how children and young people’s development is influenced by a
range of personal factors
There are the multiple range of the personal factors which influence development of children’s
and young people’s, due to it prances, absence, positive and negative impact. Such as the
disability’s, illness, motivation, learning difficulties, family background, nutrition, Harmon’s,
these are the personal factors which influence the development of children’s and youngsters.
Such as presence of the proper nutrition in there diet helps to meet the needs of Children’s and
youngsters development and opposite to this ascension of the proper nutrition in diet can cause
bad impact on development. These factors of nutrition is further influence by the family
conditions, if the children’s are belonging to the financially stable family then they can grow
with proper support. Heredity factors like disability, illness poses negative impact on children’s

and youngsters growth due to the its, influence on children’s, youngsters motivation, by the
help of which they encourage or discourage to grab new things from society.
2.2 Explain how children and young people’s development is influenced by a
range of external factors
The external factors which poses the negative and positive influence on children’s and
youngsters development, are socioeconomic factors, education, environment and
background. Children’s and youngsters within clean, positive environment and well stable
background get the positive and supportive influence for development. Opposite to that
children’s with in unhealthy, unhygienic, negative environment with family violence and
poor background get negative influence on there growth due to mental stress, health issues,
lack of proper diet. Another external factors such as social environment and education play
very important role in children’s development, because educated and supporting society
enrage the children’s development and the proper education helps as a key resource of
social/ emotional development. And the uneducated, unethical society and improper
education, causes the negative influence on children’s development. By preventing their
cultural, ethical knowledge and social awareness. Children’s and youngsters in bad
background and environment directed towards the negativity and unethical development.
2.3 Explain how theories of development and frameworks to support
development influence current practice.
The different types of development theory is given in context to the children's and
youngsters which support and influence the current practices of children's and youngsters
development. such as John Watson, according to this theory behaviour can be talk to
taught to the children's. Lev vygotsky, has given social development theory on the basis
of which children's learn through social interaction, that is also so consider in current
practices of children's development by influencing the arm to interact with the social
culture and community. Through which they can develop the cultural and ethical
knowledge. Burrhus Fredric, theory of operating conditioning according to which
running a scan be influenced my rewards and punishment, this year is also uses in the
current practices of children's education and development.

3.1 Explain how to monitor children and young people’s development using
different methods.
There are the certain pattern of children’s and youngsters behaviour and the pattern of their
growth according to the age, which helps to observe and monitor their development of
children’s and young once along with the help of different observation methods. Such as
observation of the body language, parents, teachers and colleagues information. Observation
of the mood, behaviour, assessment etc. For monitoring the children’s and youngsters
development that is important to monitor their sequence and rate of development in
comparison to the natural standards. So this can be done by the above discussed, such as
observation of behaviour helps to monitor their emotion and social development according
which they behave. If the behaviour of is according their normal age group then this can be
consider as normal development and if the behaviour is abnormal to their age standards then
this will be the factors professional concern. Another development monitoring methods are
development and body growth observation, which helps to analyse the right biological
growth, such as height, weight measurement.
3.2 Explain the reasons why children and young people’s development may not
follow the expected pattern.
There are the various reasons due to which children’s and young peoples are not following the
right direction and pattern of development. Such as disability’s, illness, inappropriate
environment, lack of emotional support such as love and motivation, language variant and
domestic violence. Such as
Social and intellectual development of the children’s and youngsters is can be inappropriate due
to the environmental factors like, lack of financial stability, nutrition and hygiene which causes
the health issues due to which children cannot attain their school and face in appropriate pattern
of development. Another reason for improper pattern of development is domestic violence and
lack of emotional supports, individuals who faces all these issues cannot develop in the right
direction due to its negative influence for the adaptation of Mind diverting bad habits such as
introvert behaviour, alcohol abuse and drug. Drug and alcohol causes the negative impact on
their emotional social development due to the introvert behaviour they cannot get exposed to the
external environment and become individual with an improper development of social and ethical
values.
3.3 Explain how disability may affect development.
