INTRODUCTIONLeading change can be defined as a framework that offers suggestions to businesses in order tomake an effective change and make them stick for the long run. This report lay the study on theUnilever, Unilever the British company well known for the production of thetransnationalconsumer goods. Unilever was incorporated in the year 1929. Unilever has morethan 400 brands register at their name. This report highlights the different driver of the change inthe organization with the real word and the comparison and similarity in between theorganization. Further this report highlights the Impact of the change to the leader, Individual andthe team and also highlights the measure which can minimize the negative impact of the changein the organization. In the end report highlights the Force field analysis and the different barrierand the different barrier for the change in the organization which influence the Leadershipdecision making.TASK 1ADriver of the change in the organizationDriver of the change as the name suggest is the factor which drives the changes in the organization. This change can be in the any sector of the organization such as the strategy, plan, design, product, service and operation. The most common type of the driver in the organization is as follows:Customer: As customer are known as a God for the business they are the biggest driver of the change in the organization as they are the one party on the basis of which all the policy of the organization center around and all the organization just work to satisfy the their customers so that they can establish their name in the market. As the need of the customer used to change in the market on the regular basis it forces the organization to make the changes in their policy and the strategy in the organization. ASDA the second largest supermarket in the UK has to adopt thechange after company was not satisfy the clothing of the company as a result, they focus more ondeveloping the good band cloth within the organization by using the different technique so that the organization can retain their customer(Aitkenhead and McCann, 2017).
Technology: It is another big driver of the change in the organization as this is the factor which force the organization to change their operation in the organization as in the rapidly changing environment it is very important for all the organization to be up to date with the technology so they have to make the change in their policy so that they are able to adopt the new technology very easily. Updated technology helps the organization to have a competitive advantage by bringing the good and new item which was not launched in the market by any organization before. Unilever is the organization has to drive the change in the technology of the organization so that the organization is able to offer the best quality of the product to the consumer.Competitor: Competitor are the other big driver of the change in the organization as they are theone who always affects the business in the negative as they always offer the different offers and also uses the different strategy to attract the customer toward their organization so for that the reason organization has to make the change in policy and strategy so that the organization is ableto retain their customer base, as all the organization looks to get a competitive advantage in the market. Toyota fourth rank company in the world on the basis of the revenue has to also make the change in their product when their competitor was attracting the customer by launching the Environment friendly car in the market as a reason Toyota has also launched the environment friendly car in the market (Allen, 2018).Political factor: Changes which are influenced due to the decision taken by the government ofthe country. E.g. changes occur due to government instability.Stakeholder: They are the party who are interested in the performance of the organization,decision taken by them also influence the change in the organization.
