Starbucks and Costsare the chosen company for this particular report. The two companies are multinationalorganisations which deals in high quality coffee products across the world. Its locations serves Various drinks like hot and colddrinks,whole bean coffee,micro ground instant coffee are some of the examples of the productsoffered by Starbucks along with various beverages it also offers various types ofcookies,smoothies etc. on its stores.COSTA COFFE: It is a British multinational coffee house company which has its headquarter inDunstable,Bedfordshire. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Whitbread. The company is justbehind Starbucks in terms of total business and locations. It was Founded in 1971 by the costafamily as a whole sale operation supplying roasted coffee to caterers and specialist Italian coffeeshops.StrategiesCosta CoffeeStarbucksCompetencybased StrategiesCosta coffee was reluctant to makeproducts which are as per thecustomer demand and it resulted inloss of loyal consumers.
