INTRODUCTION
Human resource management refers to the method as well as strategic approach used in
business place in order to cope up with several situations of work so that people can achieve their
desired goals and objectives. Main purpose of adopting human resource management by firm is
to increase entire working performance of employees so that they can make strategic goals and
achieve them successfully. On the other side, the term of HRM mainly used to identify formal
systems of management of people within the firm. This project is based on Burger King
Organization, it is the best American multinational chain of hamburger fast food restaurants
which is headquarter in Florida, US. This company offers large number of food items to
customers and satisfies them every time. Moreover, this report includes scope and purpose of
HRM along with talented skills to accomplish business goals, effectiveness of HRM, factors that
affect decision making system of HRM and lastly, human resource practices in a work related
context will explained (Wright, 2018).

1.Introduction of the report
Human resource management is one of the best tool that always concerns about
motivating, employing along with keeping entire group of people at workplace within the firm.
Additionally, it helps firm to deal with several kind of situations so that they can easily
determine their problems and resolve them with the help of their employees (Noe, et.al. 2017).
Furthermore, there are different types of functions and purpose developed by HR manager of
Burger King. The report will consider information about purpose and function of HRM,
strengths and weaknesses of recruitment and selection process and different HRM practices.
2. Definitions and explanation of HRM and workforce planning
Human resource management helps firm to recruit, select and hire best talented employees
who works accordingly. In order to select best candidates for the firm human resource manager
required to conduct training and developing sessions to their employees along with should give
rewards and benefits to employees as per their working performance. Workforce planning is a
process of managing skilled and knowledgeable human resource of the company by framing
strategies and plans so that they make their contribution in running the business of firm in
effective manner.

3. Explanation of function and Purpose of HRM
Benefits: It is one of the main functions which are mainly given to the every employee
by manager of an organization on the basis of their working performance. With the help of this
they can manage their working goals and achieve desired goals on time. Herein, HR manager of
Burger King always gives benefits to its workforce so that they can work accordingly or
motivated at high level. Thus, the main purpose of this function is to recruit best skilled and
knowledgeable employees for frim those are able to reach business at high level into potential
marketplace.
Performance appraisal: It is directly related to subordinates, superiors and individual
who have authority to measure entire working performance of their team members. With the help
of this function HR manager of Burger King conduct this function in order to increase
motivational level of workers that increase the productivity and profit for firm within the
competitive scenario.
Staffing need: HR manager always play crucial role through hiring and selecting best
suited employees for firm. Thus, it is the duty of human resource manager is mainly responsible
to play their every task at high level through considering several factors of firm. In regards with
Burger King, this function performed by human resource manager with the aim of conducting
training and development sessions and hiring best suitable people for firm (Herrera and de las
Heras-Rosas, 2020).
Law compliance: According to this function and purpose of HRM, firm is able to
formulate several kinds of rules, policies, and legislations and so many polices formed by
government t of particular country. Herein, Burger King has responsibility to introduce several
laws and policies to every employees of firm so that they can understand their entire working
concept and able to protect themselves from every issue. Thus, firm can give huge satisfaction to
their employees and able to operate functions of firm effectively.
