Social media has become part of every life of human as they are connected with all over
the web with channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and many other channels.
Positives of social media and digital technology
 Families living far away can be reached with single click on social media by sharing
photos, videos and post. The personal relationship quality enhances as experiences are shared with people living
outside (Webb. 2017).
Negatives of social media and digital technology
 It promotes virtual sharing experience in humans and leads to destroy face-to-face
relationships.
 Social media is not trustful as individual on other hand is unknown. Thus, personal
contact is not possible affecting relationship (Hausmann and et.al., 2018).
Thus, it can be said that social media and digital technology have positives and negatives
which affects personal relationships.
3. Examining benefits and costs of religion in everyday life
Religion is belief of an individual in personal Gods or Goddesses. Worship and faith in
God of individual differs from one religion to another.
Benefits of religion
Main benefit of religion is to promote ethics in political life. Example, ministers in country
should fulfil their duty towards nation (Blavatsky, 2018).
It also promotes inner strength in individuals and as a result, personal growth nurtures in the best
manner possible.
It provides message to forgive everybody whatsoever wrong, he/she has done to an individual in
the past.
Costs of religion

The cost of religion is that people fear a lot. They fear, if they do not follow religious norms,
they will be condemned to hell (The Negative Effects of Religion on Society. 2018).
People are turning against themselves because of religion. Example, bitterness among Muslims
and Jews.
Demands that religion places on persons sounds unrealistic. It says that people are born sinners
and should follow norms for going into heaven.
