Mathematics majorly and basically compacts on practical and rational reasoning and
calculations. Its progress and growth has evolved over the years, this enabling it to increase and
improve in innovations and idealism of the matter of its subject. For ages now, mathematics has
proved to be the basic and essential subject for everyday activities in human beings and in the
current and present times. Mathematics has been playing a vital role in the aspects of quantitative
or measurable life sciences scenarios (Greenwood & Humberstone, 2016).Mathematics
discovery was recorded since the beginning of history as most cultures appreciate its use in their
daily running activities. The need and want of use of mathematics came about as a result of
societal civilization, needs and wants of the community.
Introduction
Mathematics is the art and science of shape, quantity and relation that is connected between basic
observations and practices of measuring, counting and relating the forms of objects. Mathematics
is always with us and around us (Li & Lappan, 2018)s. All activities and events that we do in
our everyday lives revolve around mathematics. These activities involve art designs, finance and
accounting, engineering, sports and many more.
Mathematics majorly and basically compacts on practical and rational reasoning and
calculations. Its progress and growth has evolved over the years, as mentioned above. This has
enhanced an increase and improvement in innovations and idealism. Over time, mathematics has
proved to be basically a necessity required in our daily activities. In the past and present times,
mathematics has been presumed a vital role in the aspects of quantitative or measurable life
sciences scenarios (Greenwood & Humberstone, 2016).

Discoveries of mathematical has been brought as an attempt to define and characterize the
natural and physical world, and also the desires and wants of human beings to reach at level of
clear proper reasoning and evaluation.
Today, mathematics is basically our lives. It’s an important and vital subject matter that is used
in both school and outside world. Mathematics was made a compulsory subject at all levels of
education. Most schools and institutions have mandated the learning of mathematics in their
institutions.
