Works is an integrated procedure that helps the schedule of the organisation so that they
can work efficiently and meets the requirement of the consumer. The work culture is changed
from the agriculture to the modern day of working with the help of latest technologies. Industrial
revolution plays a vital role in the work culture. Large industries are producing a huge number of
materials in an affordable price. There are various type of technologies that enhance the modern
work culture such as IoT, Machine learning, Virtual Reality and many others. Every day, Great
Ormand Street Hospital provides life-changing treatment to six-hundred nineteen children and
many young patients. This hospital provides a balance work culture for the employees.
Employees are working 24*7 shifts. For hiring employees, they usually use various social media
platforms. Every day, top medical practitioner provides outstanding treatment facility to children.
They have a huge amount of life-saving medical equipment by which they perform these
treatments (Fredrickson 2020). They provide child and family support by using their life-saving
treatment.
Oxfam of United Kingdom is responsible to reduce the poverty in the country. They have
lots of operational strategies for improving the poverty of the nation. They responded to the
emergencies to the Rauhinga refugees of Bangladesh. They handled crisis in Syria and Yemen.
They highlight the major causes of poverty of the United Kingdom as well as related injustice.
Their main target is to help the people living under below poverty line when local capacity is
insufficient. It increases their efficiency. Oxfam takes the right-based-approach as a framework
to perform their assignment. Oxfam believes in indivisibility of human rights. They are working

Critical evaluation of the chosen organisations
For this portion, the chosen work environment is the individual work environment. In
Great Ormand Street Hospital, individual medical staffs have the flexibility to customize their
own research techniques (Green et al. 2020). They have flexible working hours and they may
customize their desks and furniture however they like. In the case of Oxfam, they use several
new methodologies to perform the rescue of the citizens. They do not want to perform any
compromise with their duty to the citizen. The Great Ormand Street Hospital always welcomes
the patient at any time. The staffs of the hospital are really very helpful as well as caring to the
patient party.
Great Ormand Street Hospital provides a huge amount of sick leaves to the employees
but the Oxfam does not provide any sick leave to their employees as they are associated with
reducing the poverty of nations. Both of these organisations does not provide many holidays due
to their service policy. But they provide some companionate leave to their employees and no
amount is deducted from their salary. Employees of these two organisations are providing
respect to each other. Both of these companies are providing sufficient training to their
employees so that they can provide the service efficiently. Both of these organisations are
providing excellent services to achieve highest popularity among the common public. Both of
these organisations provide a huge amount of sick pay to their employees. These two hospitals
are not providing many holidays to the employees because of the patient service. These two

hospitals provide companionate leave to their employees and no salary is deducted for this
purpose. Employees of these two hospitals provide a huge respect to each other. They provide
training to their employees in various aspects of medical sciences. They are providing quality
services to achieve highest consumer experiences. The employees are working as a team so that
they can satisfy their consumers. Both of these organisations are supporting democratic
leadership. In this hospital, bonding among the employees is excellent. For that reason, they are
providing quality healthcare services. Due to the efficient communication among employees, this
hospital becomes most popular among patients. They are providing ethical practices so that
patient can feel safe within the hospital. This hospital provides extra payment for the employees
who are working in holidays. If any employee becomes sick then they pay huge amount sick pay
for those employees. The expert team of the hospital is available in twenty-four hours. The staffs
of the hospital dedicate their life to fulfill the ambition of the hospital (Kumar and Casey 2020).
The ethics and values of Oxfarm is evaluated from the feedback of the employees, Google
reviews from the clients, governing body, employee association and many others. Value is the
main part of these two organisations. It includes staff job briefing, publications and many others
(Hogan 2020). It also involves the employee development program and measurement of the
performance for providing better services to the potential clients. Employees of these
organisations respect each other and work as a team. They feel proud for their achievements.
These ethics and standards of these two hospitals help to increase the popularity of these two
organisations in the United Kingdom. In this paragraph, the background information of the
individual work environment is discussed for the chosen two hospitals. In these organisations,
bonding among the employees is excellent. For that reason, they are providing quality healthcare
services. Due to the efficient communication among employees, these two organisations become
