INTRODUCTIONPublic Health is defined the programmes which help to protect the human and gives safety orimproving the human health of the communities by giving education, making the policy and effectiveresearch of the disease and give prevention from injury. In this way, public health is different for everyperson. It includes the following activity such as monitoring the health status, diagnose and investigatethe health problem, developing the policies, make the evaluation of the effectiveness and research formaking an innovative solution. In this research report HIV is taken as a diseases which affect the UKcommunity. In this way various approaches and strategies are measured, monitor and control. In thisway, Health education, Surveillance, Screening, Immunisation, Legislations & environmental control istaken as an approaches so that it can control the HIV in UK. It also describes the role different agenciesand it also describes the background and historical context of Health and Social Care.TASK 11.1 Approaches and Strategies used to measure, monitor and control HIV in UKHuman Immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a lenti- virus which are caused by HIV infection. Thereare many approaches and strategies used to measure, monitor and control HIV in UK, they are:Surveillance- Surveillance is a continuous approach which include the systematic collection,analysis and interpretation of data which is related to the HIV. It includes all the planning activity,implementation and evaluation of public health practice which is helpful to get or collect sufficientinformation of HIV in UK. It includes many surveillance such as giving warning to the people of publicHIV related emergencies, making proper documentation of impact and deciding the goals and at-lastmonitor all the HIV related problems and give information to the public of HIV policy and strategies. Screening- Screening is a process which identify the such people which are in risk factor. Itincludes taking a simple test in a population and identify the individuals that they are in a risk factors orin a early stage of disease or not. It includes various test related to HIV and ensure that such test is valid,simple, reliable and affordable or not. It also examined that such test is acceptable to patient and staff ornot? Screening of HIV in UK can be form by making screening programmes by using technicalprocedures like laboratory test, or in the form of simple clinical examination related to theHIV(Tulchinsky and Varavikova, 2014).Immunisation- Immunisation is also known as vaccination, which provide prevention from someHIV infection from the individual. It help to control the HIV by giving vaccine to a person so that it canmake protection against HIV virus. This also help to make person's immune system well so that therebody can face the disease well. In this way, Immunisation protect the people who are not immunised,
