1. Introduction:
Project Management and modern quality management are complementary. It is seen that both
of them has been emphasizing on the satisfaction of customers. This has also included the
underpinning belief that quality can lead to the satisfaction of customers. In the following report the
quality management at IT project management sector is evaluated.
Here, the aims of the investigation are demonstrated. Then the topic is introduced. After that
its significance is analyzed. Later the available software is described and listed. Next, the software
selected for evaluation is discussed and some of the software is reviewed. After that the set criteria
and identification of the assessment are demonstrated. After than an evaluation matrix is set up with
the justification of the weighting criteria of every software. Lastly, the results are discussed along
with a discussion on the pitfalls and problems.
2. Aims of the investigation:
In the current project, different kinds of efficient software related to managing quality are
estimated to be analysed. Here, this has been specifically for the area of information technology.
Hence, the aims of the project include the following.
To understand how the software available is supporting the process of the project regarding
the managing of quality at IT.
To evaluate the manners in which the software has been useful for knowing the perquisites of
quality.
To investigate the manner in which the software has been useful for the commitments
towards quality.
