INTRODUCTIONCox, (2019) used descriptive research design in their article and it is a Quantitative studyis used in order to understand the relationship between the work increase and burnout secondaryteachers which is the primary concentration in the article name “to understand the relationshipbetween the work intensification and in burnout secondary teacher”. The author use job demandResource Model as a theory that clearly describe the kinship between a work increase,contentment with the workload and burnout in secondary teachers. The study chooses 215 highschool teacher from Australia's School using online survey method and For that, author usesMultiple Regression Analysis under Qualtrics Software that clearly indicates non- teachingrelated work is the stronger predictor of depression and emotional exhaustion as compared toteaching related workload. Thus, this essay will critically examine method, result, discussion andconclusion of the study with regard to the research questions.Method As per the view of Heale and Twycross (2015) the strength of the research mainly lies inthe choice of using quantitative method and also in the interpretation of the finding usingthematic coding. For this article, the quantitative method is proven successful as per author pointof view because it helps to get correct results that helps author to meet the defined aim andresearch questions with more depth information. While on the other side, .. critic that qualitativedata analysis is not used because it only help to answer the question and even did not provide indepth information which quantitative method does. Moreover, it is an excellent tool that is alsoused in the article to stretch the scope of educational research. For the current study, 215participants are chosen, who ranged in age from 25 to 75, were presently on the job, on time offor retired. It has been analysed that inactive Australian high school teachers had taught at least70% of the teacher provides direct lessons to their students from last many years. On the otherside, Michaelson and et.al., (2018) critic that retired teachers are regarded most importantbecause they have an experience of burnout or no burnout. In the survey, four question related tocontentment with education related and non- teaching employment is used and it is observed thatthe teachers are satisfied with the workload.1
