 It acts as a support for the new unemployed persons.

 It has a negative impact on the functioning of work.
2. Unemployment from conflict perspective
A. Questions they would ask?
 Is the society is distinguished by epidemic inequality?
 Is the inequality or discrimination is based on race, social class etc.?
B. Conclusions from unemployment based on conflicts
◦ Yes, it does as this perspective adds discrimination as well. The functionalists might
consider the fact that the public is employing them on the basis of their race, caste,
religion etc.
3. Unemployment from interactionist perspective
A. What they would be concerned with?
 They would be concerned with the symbolic interactionism.
 Also they would refer the small interactions that has a higher impact (Rubington and
Weinberg, 2015).

 They would be affected by the functionalist and conflict perspective as well.
B. Comparison of the perspectives
 As per functionalism, all the parts of society are considered as interconnected parts that
work together for a healthy and happier environment (Berger, 2011).
 In contradiction that, as per conflict perspective, society also compares between the
people on race, religion etc., which is categorised as discrimination (Deutsch, Coleman
and Marcus, 2011).
