INTRODUCTION
Understanding and supporting behaviour refers to process of gaining knowledge related
to individuals attribute and actions. The current case study explains about the behaviour of Ruby,
who is a five-year-old having issues to manage her behaviour in her kindergarten. She is has a
negative attitude towards the students and teachers which is not beneficial for her to achieve
success in her life. She has been into physical fights that has become an issue for the teachers to
manage her behaviour towards other children. Several incidents of her punching, kicking and
pinching other students have been highlighted which is a matter of concern for the teacher. The
current case study will be a response which will evaluate different strategies in order to control
the situation (Barrett, Evans and Pritchard-Wilkes, 2020).
MAIN BODY
1. What behaviours identify in the case study and why do I think they are happening?
From the case study that is related to Ruby a five-year-old girl, it has been identified that
she have conduct disorder behaviour. It means she displays aggressive, when someone is not
listening to her and providing directions, which she never listened. Along with these things, the
current behaviour of Ruby also displays destructive attribute that violate the rights of other
children plays with her (Diakopoulos, Trielli and Lee, 2021). Lack of family attention and their
concern become the biggest reasons behind behaviour and activities she conducts into practical
manner. It put negative impact on other children's, playing around her, because Ruby, has had
different outbursts. According to her behaviour she punches and kick other child's. Epstein's
theory is relevant in case of Ruby that drive family and companies attention toward socializing
child.
2. What tactics and interventions could I utilize to support the learner to make decisions and
guide their own behaviour?
By using range of communication strategies, management can support Ruby and guide
her own behaviour. With effective communication and collaboration, she can improve herself
even better than now, in term of engaging themselves with other students (Brower and Cox,
2021).
The circle of security is the best intervention that management can take in the context o
Ruby for purpose of enabling her to make decisions and improving her behaviour. According to
this intervention, they can research that secure child exhibit maximize empathy, better relation
