UNDERSTANDING THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD1 Author’s background: The author of the article is Mevlüde Zengin (Zengin, 2016), a female Turkish novel writer. She is a facility member of the Cumhuriyet University based in Turkey. She is a professor of the English language and literature in that university. Previously, she has penned down several critique articles on several different topics that are related to the English literature. Her other articles are based on the poem London by William Blake and his other papers.
