EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project report is based on a pet clinic named as complete pet clinic. In the report different
kinds of tasks are mentioned under which various kinds of information are included. In the task
one computation of operating cost has been done. In task 2 analyses is done included in
accordance of given data about historic. The task 3 abstracts about presentation of given data and
in final task excel function is applied.

By storing approach this table has been prepared through excel. This table shows that
Hamster is the animal which has fewest emergency visits.
Which day did they run them on, and were they successful at reducing emergencies?
Emergencies are unavoidable element which cannot be eliminated totally however,
Complete pet care can minimise emergencies by providing discounts on check-ups (Collins and
Halverson, 2018). Week end like Saturday and Sunday will be best for discounting day in
attempt to reduce emergencies. There is no specific approach to determine the to what extent
Complete Pet Care will be successful in reducing pet emergencies in clinic. Weekend is most
preferred day for customers as most of the people are free on these days thus it is advisable to
Per Care to organise Discount day on Saturday as well as at month end.

Interpretation: The above table shows detailed information about expenses and prices of various
kinds of months. Such as in month of July expenses were of $29166.8 and price were of
$56108.6. The lowest prices and expenses were of $35040.1, $13121.1 in month of December.
The higher prices and expenses were in the month of July. This indicates that there might be
more number of emergency cases.

Interpretation: The above mentioned chart provides detailed information about consultation of
different veterinaries. Barbra has more number of cases as her schedule is decided for three days
in a week while Aiden is scheduled to come for two days in a week.
Task 4 - Price consistency
In this task of report, V look function has been applied so that Chris can find out information
about quote price by entering value of animal types and consultation types.
'Vertical Lookup' provides for VLOOKUP. It is a method which allows Excel check in a panel
for a specific element (so-called 'table array') in attempt to retrieve a number in the similar row in
a specific column (Rindfleisch, O'Hern and Sachdev, 2017).
This function contains below mentioned components such as:
The meaning to look out for;
The spectrum in which you want the benefit and returning factor to be found;
The numbers of a section that holds the return type inside the given range;

For an ideal balance with the quality you are searching for, 0 or Incorrect; for an estimated
match, 1 or Correct (Wessels, 2016).
In relation to above mentioned task of report, this function is applied on detailed information
about consultation, types of animal and price or expense of each consultation.
Task 5 Process improvement
Consultation process:
 Patient should be aware about what kind of consultation they want to discuss with
veterinaries.
 Clinician should be as prepared as possible. They should be calm and aware about the
entire task which they are going to perform in a specific day (About consultation process,
2019).
 Patients are needed to be called in cabin in accordance of a sequence.
 Veterinaries should know about patient like his/her name, age etc.
 Consultation should be given after listing issue of patient.

In the above task 4, V-look formula has been applied which can produce quote amount by just
clicking information of types of pet and clinic. In the aspect of above pet clinic, this can be

will be feasible for clinic to save time and cost to offer information to patient. In addition, this
function will bring efficiency in operational performance of above clinic.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above project report, this can be concluded that various kinds of tasks are
performed under excel sheet. It has been done in order to get overall findings from given
data set. The report articulates that data can be sorted and analyzed by help of various
functions of excel like V-look, graphs, interpretation etc.
