INTRODUCTION
Human services play a vital role in sampling of the skills, ethical values and practical
experience that are required to become successful in the respective profession. This essay
indented to provide specific information regarding the Nursing professions within the healthcare
industry. It primary focused is based on the care of individual, society and families so that they
may attain optimal health as well as quality life. Therefore, it is important to have proper
knowledge and ability to deal with the patient by providing better services (Munhall, 2012).
However, the main aim of this essay is to examine the duties, responsibilities and activities of
nursing profession that are delivered by the nurse in the healthcare sectors. However, the
relationships between a professional as well as occupational group with a protected feature are
also being the highlight of this essay. Furthermore, it would also examine relevant policy and
legislation related to nursing profession that play crucial role in shaping the career of any
individual.
MAIN BODY
Nursing is considered as an integral aspect of the healthcare system that encompasses the
encouragement of health, prevention of sickness and provide care of physically ill people. It has
been seen that nurses could easily be differentiated from some other healthcare providers by
using its methods to patient care and nature of practices. In fact, many nurses tends to deliver
care within the guidance of physicians as well as play a traditional rile that has changed the
public picture of nurse as care providers (Fawcett and Desanto-Madeya, 2012). Moreover,
nursing profession is legalized by most of the jurisdictions to training independently in a wide
range of courses. It has been seen that nurses could easily assist coordinate the ill person
performed by other group of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
It has been seen that registered nurses used to work in public or private hospitals, where
they can learn hands-on care to patients through administering medication, observing and
monitoring their daily condition. They are also liable to relied upon to provide right direction and
supervision to nurse aides as well as home health aide. Beyond the physical support they are also
provide emotional supports to the patients and their family members. Further, nurses could also
have the duty to educate patients as well as to common public on specific disease, diet plans and
home care matters after treatment. It has been seen that nurses are employed by a experienced
