INTRODUCTION Employees working within an organisation are its greatest assets(De Sousa Sabbagha, Ledimo and Martins, 2018). This is so because the higher-level of efficiency, effectiveness and productivity displayed by them in their work can be quite helpful for them in ensuring that the attainment of a wide range of goals and objectives can be done effectively and efficiently. Thus it becomes crucial for the organisations that its HR department is able to take proper care of the employees. This report will focus on IOM Electronics Ltd. It is a company which provides a wide range of electronic products to the customers in the market. In this assignment, detailed focus will be made on demonstration of understanding of the reasons why people work. Additionally, specific analysis on explanation of the impact that work can have on the people will be discussed as a part of this project. MAIN BODY Motivation refers to the inducement which can be given to the different types of employees who are working within an organisation so that they are able to effectively and efficiently attain their different types of goals and objectives in a proper way(Idowu, 2017). In the context of IOM Electronics Ltd. it is quite important that the employees are motivated so that they can work in the right manner to attain the desired goals and objectives. There are a wide range of factors which can motivate the different types of employees to work. A discussion of the different types of factors is provided as follows- ď‚·Regularpaymentofcompensation-Regularpaymentofcompensationisquite important for the different types of employees because it can be helpful for them in ensuring that they are able to get their salaries and wages within a set period of time (Jungert and et.al., 2018). Thus if IOM Electronics Ltd. will provide regular payment of compensation then the employees will be motivated towards work. ď‚·Hygienic work conditions- If the work conditions in the organisation are hygienic then this can help the workers to be able to achieve their goals and objectives in the right manner(Kuranchie-Mensah and Amponsah-Tawiah, 2016). Therefore, for a company like IOM Electronics Ltd. It can be quite important to make sure that the hygienic work conditions can be developed which will help it to be able to concentrate more on work in a proper manner. 1

Thus it is important for the companies to put their focus on them. There are different types of factors which can motivate employees in work. There are positive factors which people experience on the basis of their job roles. Also there are negative factors which employees experience on the basis of their job roles. Further, the use of strategies can be made so that the employees can be helped in order to cope up with the influence created by the negative factors so that their motivation level can be enhanced. 4
