Contemporary tourism is a newly and advanced study of tourism which is proclaimed by
different international bodies. It is one of the new and fresh approach of tourism study under
which different types of factors are taken into consideration such as change in environment and
world order, destination marketing, pro poor tourism and tourism ethics. It is one of the emerging
sector of market which has huge opportunities for both developed and developing countries.
Tourism is regarded as most emerging sector of market which grabs attention of different types
of nations due to their high growth chances. This report is based on providing different types of
aspects for tourism under which development of tourism are effectively explained. The another
section of report provides both positive and negative impacts of contemporary tourism on
different aspect such as economic, socio culture and environmental.

The concept of contemporary tourism is one of highly misunderstood and ignorable
concept of market under which many many stakeholder refuses to use concepts due to number of
rumours spread about them (Saarinen, 2022). There are many countries present in world which
used concept of tourism as their core activity and enjoys different types of positive returns of
them for example Dubai. It is a gulf country on which economy of country was based on their
natural resources reserve. The management of company analyse that reserves does not provide
returns in future. The government of country shift economy of country towards tourism industry
and faced different types of positive impacts for concept (Kozinets, 2020). The concept of
tourism are also influence by COVID pandemic as there are both positive and negative impacts
of them. At time of pandemic, all activities of tourism becomes shut due to lock down orders
which negatively impacts industry growth and survivals. There are number of business activities
are linked with concepts such as hotels, resorts, destinations, transportation and many more. All
these business activities are impacted due to presence of pandemic (Ramos-Tumana and Ryan,
2019). There are also positive impacts present because needs and preference of customers
towards tour becomes increases due to long term home isolation. The organisations which
provide safe and healthy tour packages at affordable price becomes able to enjoy number of
positive outcomes of trend. There are different types of factors are present which plays
significant role for development. The first factor which becomes reason for development of
