a) Explain the term project scope.
Answer: The project scope is defined as the project planning part used for developing
the determination and documentation of the project goals, features, deliverables,
deadlines, functions, tasks, and project goals.
b) What is the benefit of preparing a project scope?
Answer: The project scope helps in defining what is needed for the successful
completion of the project and its final delivery.
c) Where can information about the project scope be accessed from?
Answer: Project scope is the initial document that is used for the implication of the
information conveyance1. The information can be collected from the project charter
document, client requirements, and past reports.
Question 2
Explain why project reports must be made available for consultation and evaluation to project
stakeholders. In your answer, list and explain four (4) types of reports that your stakeholders will
need throughout a project.
Answer: The project reports help in listing the documentation and the alignment of the work,
resources, and cost that are required for the completion of the project2. The evaluation of the
project stakeholders would be done for aligning the resources required for the effective
completion of the work. The utilization of the effective implication of the works would be
continued with the formation of the effective work alignment and development. The four types of
reports that the stakeholders would need are,
Project Charter Report: It is the initial set of information compiled in the documents for providing
the stakeholders with the initial information.
Project Management Plan Report: The management of the project activities and the project plan
are the constituent of the project management plan report.
Project Baseline Report: The project baseline report is deployed for the listing of the information
and the utilization of the information regarding the expected cost and time schedule.
Risk Assessment Report: The analysis of the risk factors for identifying their impacts, target
area, and mitigation strategies are listed in this report.

Answer: The project stakeholder are the individuals or organization or representatives of
the organization that are directly or indirectly involved with the project and impacted by
the success or failure of the project. For example: Client, Investors.
b) How would you go about defining your project stakeholders in the initiation stages of a
project?
Answer: The project stakeholders would be defined according to the work requirements
during the initiation stages of a project. The analyst would be responsible for the analysis
of the operations of the project3. The planner would take care of the planning activities of
the project. The client and the investor would assist in the formation of the effective work
alignment for the project.
c) List and describe the roles of five (5) common project stakeholders.
