INTRODUCTION
Unethical Practices or behavior is the term that can be defined as the actions which are
against towards the social acts or norms which are not acceptable by the public is called
unethical behavior (Cecire, 2019). It is just opposite to ethical behavior because ethical behavior
is followed the social acts and norms and that action are accepted by the public. It is commonly
seen in today’s culture which incudes corruption scandals, bribery, fraudulent policies etc.
Aesthetic industry is defined as the industry which helps to deals with treatments which aims to
improve the people’s appearance on cosmetic. This report will cover the unethical practices in
the aesthetic industry, and it will also define the impacts of unethical practices within the
aesthetic industry. This report will cover the advantages of unethical practices in the industry.

According to the view of Gentile (2020), unethical practices or behavior is referring to
the falls which is considered as unacceptable by the people. Unethical practices can be defined as
the term which includes abusive behavior, employee theft, misusing company time, lying to
employees, company policies etc. in relation to aesthetic industry, unethical practices is defined
as testing on animals, misleading advertisements etc. many companies and beauty brands has
photoshopped after and before images for selling their product and services. The main purpose of
beauty brands is selling their products and services by showing before and after images which
help to influence the people and make them to believe that it is the good product for them. The
before and after photoshopped images help in editing where they can hide the wrinkles, pimples
etc. the unethical practices in aesthetic industry can be defined as the term where they are lying
to their customers by showing the photoshopped after and before images and hide the acne,
wrinkles, and pimples in the face.
