This exam assesses comprehension and analysis of the principles, common operating precepts, multinational tenets, joint and service functions, and unified action in joint operations. The exam includes tasks and recommendations for forming a multinational joint task force (MNJTF) to accomplish various operations in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. The tasks include forming a MNJTF headquarters, clearing northern Sumatra of enemy forces, securing the Strait of Malacca, establishing port opening and distribution, and supporting Indonesian military forces to suppress potential unrest/subversive activity in Aceh. The recommendations include selecting appropriate units from a list provided and considering the capabilities and limitations of each unit. The exam also discusses how Air Force core missions of command and control (C2) and rapid global mobility (RGM) enhance or enable Joint Forces to conduct these tasks, as well as how space capabilities enhance or enable Joint Forces to conduct certain tasks. Finally, the exam explains which cyberspace operation is the most challenging when forming a MNJTF and why.
