This report provides a review and critique of the implementation of operations management principles within Unilever Plc. It includes an analysis of the extent to which the operations management of the organization meets the requirements of the organization. The report also discusses continuous improvement as a philosophy and describes the Lean principles. Additionally, it provides a continuous improvement plan, including justified recommendations for improvement, based on the review and critique of operations management principles within the organization. The second part of the report includes an overview of the case study, an explanation of each stage of the PLC that applies to the selected project, an analysis of the project methodologies and tools used, and a review and critical evaluation of the effectiveness of the PLC in application to the project.
