Introduction
Human resources refers to employees that works in organisation and that required to be
maintained and monitor by the HR of company (Di Vaio and et.al., 2020). They are integral part
of firm that perform certain activities and function for the betterment of firm and they are like
asset for the firm that plays essential role. In this report the company is Unison, which is largest
trade union in United Kingdom and its member works in public services like local government,
education, health and outsourced services. In this report the topic covered are meaning and types
of motivation theory that used in organisation and discussing various steps that ensure
motivation among employees of company.
MAIN BODY
Definition of Human Resources
It is set of workforce in the company and perform various activities and responsibilities
that leads to proper productivity in the firm. To regulate their activities and function there is
Human resound manager who perform various duties such as planning, recruitment, hiring. In
the company Unison, this Human resources are very essential part and their performance is
carefully examined by Manager and they were hired according to their available position and
monitor the working condition to improve their performance.
Meaning of Motivation
This factor is very necessary tool that need to be developed among employees to boost
their confidence and self esteem towards their task. This facilitates in improving overall
performance and they required it time to time to develop their efficiency (NEDELKIN and et.al.,
2017). In the company Unison, motivation will help the employees in their task and motivated
them to foster the working condition and will lead to increase the overall productivity of firm.
This plays as essential tool that gives positive output and through that employees were able to
put their all efforts into their task.
Motivational theories
There are two main theories that used in every organisation through that it improve the
environment of their company at certain level. Following are the motivation theory are as
follows-
