INTRODUCTION
Partnership working is termed to a wider range of practice among two or more people or
groups coming collectively for attaining common purpose. In health and social care industry,
partnership working brings together separate business concerns for achieving benefits from
resources, power sharing addition to pooled expertise (Ocloo and Matthews, 2016). Key goal of
partnership working is to foster efficiency addition to quality of service provision. It is marked
via respect for one another, rights to information, role divisions, accountability, value along with
competence that are accorded to sole input. Partnership working are often formed with the hope
of addressing particular issue that might be short or long term. Purpose of the essay is to learn
about how to foster productive partnership working among organisations. For understanding the
concept, NHS is considered which have joined forces with clinically led bodies that are
responsible to plan and provide local health and social care. NHS have partnership with various
service providers that run creative activities for providing care and treatment to meet needs of
population present and in future. The entity works with the aim to enhance quality of life along
with give rise to new characteristics and new beginnings. It value people and embrace
opportunities for making differences in health care services.
The essay is bifurcated in two Tasks in which Task one highlights description of certain
elements, importance related to partnership working with colleagues, families, external
companies and individuals. It also explains how to overcome barriers and deal with conflict in
partnership working. On other hand, Task two is a reflective account that includes contribution,
evaluation of strengths and weaknesses and ways to improve practice associated to partnership
working. It further comprises review of effectiveness of working in partnership for attaining
agreed outcomes.
TASK 1

Effective health service delivery is an integrated work of more than two person or
organisations to deliver continuum of care with linkage to different level of care with the help of
functional referral systems (Swanwick and McKimm, 2017). Service delivery is element of
health system in which patients receive proper treatment, care as well as supplies which they are
